where can i get a kitchen table that can also become a work station for 2 people?
My husband and I both own two separate businesses. We work from home at night. I would like to turn our kitchen table into a work station but still have a dinner table when guest come. Any suggestions?
It really depends on your style, since you could make just about any table work. However, I really like this table: http://www.17thandriggs.com/yorkdiningtable.aspx It is transitional in style (works with both modern and traditional interiors) and because of the way the legs are situated, it gives a good sense of individual space. Personally, the only thing I would steer clear of are glass table tops which I don't enjoy working on - to me they feel cold to touch and delicate in comparison with a wood top table.
