To View Streaming Video - Displaying Your Videos Like a Pro !
If you'd like to view streaming video files you don't need to be a professional; you simply need to follow several easy steps and you'll soon be watching your video. Go through these simple steps and i will describe how you can easily quickly be on your way.
You see, in order to 'paste' a video file onto one of your webpages, the first order of "business" is to convert your original file onto a web format called flv (flash video) this is the web's most popular display format for videos. This widely used format allows you to compact your videos into a smaller and much more reasonable file size, to avoid a cumbersome result, while maintaining a top quality display level.
Whenever you want to view streaming video files, this efficient format lets you display your videos in an immediate 'ready-to-go' mode; so that whenever any of your visitors click on play they are able to start watching your movie(s) immediately and 'fluently', without delays of any kind, and even better, without the necessity of downloading or installing anything on their computer.
Great, now that you know how it works, in all likelihood you're wondering what's required to get started, it's easy, actually it's extremely easy - you've got to find a simple (yet professional) software solution to do that for you. It needs to be able to convert your original file(s) to flv along with an embedded web-video player, so all that's required is to simply upload your revised video to your webserver, and paste a very small code line into your chosen location on your webpage, and your videos are ready to be watched by anyone!
To sum things up, in order to view streaming video files you don't need any special expertise, you just have to find the right tool that'll enable you to do that in just a few clicks, it will have to be able to compress your original video files by a minimum of 90% compression rate, as well as supplying you with a professional embedded flash video (flv) player.

How do I exit "Cannot Display This Video Mode" on my computer?
I tried changing the resolution on my computer but then I got the message "Cannot Display This Video Mode" and I just can't exit it. It is a Dell computer. Can anyone please help?
Thanks a lot. That really helped. Now I am not really great with computers so I don't know what you meant after the first paragraph but the first made up for it big time. With the selection I was able to choose to go with my last good configuration and that reset the resolution I had accidentally put up. Again, thanks.
Hold down the power button for 5 seconds, this will force a PS shutdown, turn it back on and hit F8 repeatedly to start in safe mode, this will start the computer with minimal driver support and only a plain VGA video driver, then you can go back and set the video to where it was.
Are you using a LCD monitor, only a few models will support a screen refresh or frame rate over 70-75 HZ, in fact they generally like the slower 60-70 HZ much better, generally they also will not work at a resolution higher than the native resolution of the LCD panel
Or if you are on an CRT monitor you may have exceeded it's horizontal scan frequency or resolution
You have two components to video drivers, the first is obvious, the driver for the card in the computer, the second is the so called "monitor driver" this is not really a driver, rather it is an information file (.inf) that tells Windows what the monitor is capable of displaying, it comes with the monitor.
if you put this in (the CD that came with the monitor), the "properties" can be set to "show only modes this monitor supports" of course you now know it will also work if the monitor "inf" file is not installed, but it may show modes your monitor chokes on..
Also if you get a widescreen monitor (or other odd size) you may "need" to put the inf file in if to enable Windows to run the video card to widescreen, if Windows has no information file it uses generic size info and the wide (or other odd)resolution may not show up
Got it all...lol
