High Precision, High Speed CNC Wirecut EDM
Having carefully studied the market requirements Electronica Machine Tools Ltd. launched High Precision & High performance new series of CNC Wirecut
EDM ULTIMA. This is the result of total indigenous development carried out in own integrated facilities in Pune.
This series comes in two sizes Ultima -1 and Ultima -2 having two variants such as submerged and flushing technology. Both the models have much compact footprints, with ergonomically designed user friendly controller. The advanced noise free dielectric filtration unit uses specially developed paper cartridge filters developed by Mann, Germany for Ultima. It not only increases the life of filters but also facilitates ease of cleaning the sludge tank.
The geometrical accuracies conform to International standard IS 14137, with positioning accuracy of +/- 2 micron and repeatability of less than 2 micron. The CNC Pulse Generator comply International standard IEC 60204. It uses industrial grade PC and mouse and UPS from APC.
The square table of 40 mm. thickness is made in single piece, non corrosive, scratch proof stainless steel offers high rigidity and long life.
Ultima -1F has X, Y traverses of 400 X 300 mm. Ultima -1S has X, Y traverses of 500 X 300 mm. and Ultima -2 has 600 X 400mm, driven through direct coupled AC servo motors. The larger U, V traverses allow to cut taper angle of 36 deg. Over 50 mm. workpiece height. The maximum workpiece height is 250 mm and 400 mm. respectively.
The improved wire drive mechanism can accommodate standard wire spool of 8 Kg. with the provision of optional external decoiler unit of up to 45 Kg.
Auto power recovery, Auto workpiece alignment, touch screen windows based CNC , 16 step programmable flushing, ELCAM part programming software are standard features with optional Auto Wire Threading unit for non stop working without operator intervention.

Frankenstein : often seen as a precursor to science fiction.
1984 and Brave New World: can both be claimed as early science fiction. Utopias, dystopias, political experiment and satire are common themes in SF.
Fahrenheit 451 is classic SF, on a social theme.
Fantasy: (and none of these are neat categories)
I wouldn't include the Odyssey as it is from an older time where the question of fantasy was handled differently.
We would see it as such. It's not clear that it's first hearers so took it.
Animal farm, yes, because of its form, despite its clear political allegory.
Moby Dick? Possibly. It's not really written that way, rather as a tale at the limit of human experience in *this* world.
The Hobbit, undoubtedly.
Tolkien's world is sufficiently thought out that it almost moves over to science fiction in terms of having an underlying consistent structure but the ever-present classic elements of fantasy really claim his work for that category.
