Work From Home Part Time
The internet has spawned a new category in part time job searches. The work from home category has taken the workforce by storm.
There are plenty of ways to work from home and make a nice income without losing the security of your 9-5 job (unless you are like me and love the freedom and excitement of working from home). There are many work at home jobs that are legitimate that one should consider when looking for a part time income from home. The following are just a handful of work from home jobs that can bring in some extra income data entry; document coding; virtual assistants; legal transcription, customer service reps, freelance writers, proofreaders, editors, translators, telemarketers and online tutors. There are plenty of places to find these work from home jobs. Here is a list of places to begin your search; Craiglist.org, monster.com, elance.com (best site for work at home freelancers) and most job search engines will have work from home (telecommuting) categories.
Working from home has its ups and downs. The hardest thing that I have found is keeping diligent to your schedule. Treat it like a real job, work the hours that you have set and don’t let your self get distracted. The other thing you have to keep track of is your taxes. You need to have a W-9 filled out for every company that you do work for that you will make more than $600 from. Remember this, you can write off all expenses related to your home based business. Write off you internet access, your printer cartridges and printing paper. If you have to drive to a clients business you should track the mileage and if you take a lunch break you will need to get a receipt. One of the major plusses from working at home is the fact that you get what you put in. The harder you work the more money you make. Your income is solely based on the effort you put in. Not like working for someone else where you work your butt of and the company goes bankrupt and you are out a job.
My recommendation is to keep your day job and work at home part time until you day job is supplementing your work at home business. If you need more information about work at home jobs please go to Google and type in “work from home”. There are thousands of websites that are catered to working from home.
Good luck and keep at it.

Printer Problem. Don't want to use color ink cartridges. Is it ok to have 3 empty cartridge holders?
I have an Epson Stylus CX5800F all-in-one. I don't need color. I do need to reduce expense as much as possible. Astounded by how often nozzle clogged and how much ink was used each time I needed to clean print head to unclog nozzle. How many pages should I be able to print before a nozzle clogs?
A tutor just set the default at black ink only and at draft quality. He was in a hurry and I dont know how to find the settings. If anyone can tell me what to click on to get there, I'd appreciate it.
I found a company that sells cartridges at around $6. Currently I am not printing much but that may change. My major concern is expense.
What do I have to do to get the most pages from each cartridge?
Is there anything I can do to reduce or eliminate the clogged nozzel problem?
Will I harm the machine in any way by pulling the color cartridges and leaving the holders empty?
For starters you printer will not function without colour cartridges installed. If that there needs to be ink in those cartridges. Epson cartridges have a chip on the bottom that have an on off switch, If one cartridge is on the off position (empty) or missing the printer will not function.
In terms of clogs, they are not caused by over use, rather lack there of, or substandard cartridges. Unfortunately the only way to reduce the risk of clogs is to run regular print head cleanings, around once a month should do the trick. More often if you are using third party cartridges. Although this procedure does use ink, it will save you the cost of a printer in the long run.
IN order to make the most of you cartridges, avoid printing pictures and overly graphic things at home. Take you digital pictures to a Sam's club, you will get a far better value per print. Print in draft mode when you can, and always ensure that your print quality is never set any higher than normal.
Epson are actually one of the better value printers on the market today. With a little maintenance and ink conservation via playing with you quality you should find it to be a reliable and economic printer.
