Harrods Dog Fashion Parade
Harrods Dog Fashion Parade
With the increase of pooch popularity every year, both purebreds and designer dogs, it’s not surprising that these friendly creatures, and certified man’s best friend, could start hitting up the runway, or fill up huge spaces in department stores. Let’s take the case of Harrods, for example.
Â
Harrods is considered the ultimate store in the United Kingdom. It sells all kinds of high-end products —from apparel, bags, shoes, furniture— anything of a high quality, you’re sure that Harrods will have it.
Â
Not surprisingly, this high-class shop isn’t afraid to conquer the world of pooches. As a matter of fact, it has a Superpet department, where you and your dog can feast your eyes on the toys, clothes, leads, charms, jewellery, furniture, dog beds, tote bags, pet carriers—and the list goes on and on. The management is also set on opening a brand-new department, which will span 11,000 square meters. That’s 4 times the size of the existing pet shop they have. This gives you an idea of how fast-growing the dog fashion and accessories industry is becoming.
Â
How to Shop at Harrods
Â
As expected, though, don’t expect to find anything to be super-affordable. For instance, a fur dog coat can cost you close to £400. Tracksuits from Juicy Couture, as well as some pieces of Swarovski-laden jewelry, can be around £300 or more. Nevertheless, when you’ll only accept the best for your beloved dog, and you’re looking for quality before price pet fashion at Harrods is for you. No matter how pricey the dog coats can be, visitors and Londoners alike continue their shopping frenzy to spoil their little furry friends.
Â
A Treat Down the Runway
Â
Patrons of Harrods and dog lovers can definitely look forward to exclusive fashion galas exclusively for four-legged fur balls. Dressed in their best Harrods-sponsored clothes, these pooches are bent on changing the catwalk into a dog walk.
Â
But what can you expect during the Harrods Dog Fashion Parade?
Â
1. Cocktail parties. Before the start of the canine fashion show, everyone is treated to their fill of champagnes and cheese. Of course, the stars of the show won’t be around just yet as they will be backstage preparing for their dogwalk very soon.
Â
2. Exclusive collection of luxury dog clothes. If you want to catch the latest and the trendiest dog clothing available, be sure not to miss the Harrods fashion show. The dog apparel is composed of designs from Vivienne Westwood and Ralph Lauren. You can also be the first to see the newest styles created by Juicy Couture and Puppia.
Â
3. Doggy bags. Lastly, don’t forget to bring home some fabulous doggie bags all from Harrods. They contain all the most luxurious items for your pooch, including the must-haves of the season.
Â
You can check out Harrods or their website to know when the next dog fashion show will be. In the meantime, add “fab†to the wardrobe of your mutt, and look forward to a night of stylish pet apparel.

Would this type of cage be good for my dwarf hamsters?
http://www.seapets.co.uk/products/pet-supplies/pet-cages/hamster-cages/critter-trail-hamster-cages/superpet-critter-trail-discovery-hamster-cage.html
and also a 55 gallon bin cage(208.something liters.) please tell me and i will be connecting them and how many hamster can i fit in to that
I know this sounds stupid but i just wanna hear how it sounds lolz
lol Kirstine i was saying would these cages be good for dwarf hammies
I have 10 siberian dwarf hamsters and they get along fine in a small cage(critter trail 2) then my brothers gave me their cages and now they have a TON of room, i would say that cage could hold 3 hamsters and they would be very happy, i was going to buy that cage but i have heard from friends it breaks very easily, i would recomend a 10 gallon tank or a critter trail 2 (mine LOVE that cage) if you get robos, expect them to fight, i have siberians (in other words russians) they rarely fight, once in a blue moon they fight, but mostly they play fight ( when they play fight the sqeeking is not that loud and there will be no blood, when they fight it will sound like bloody murder and at times it will be bloody) for me that has only happend once and it was when one of the females was pregnant ( thats how i got so many hamsters in the first place) i had 14 but i only kept the females. for a 55 gallon container that would probobly hold like 10 hamsters ( if i did not have all those cages i would get a 55 gallon tank) the thing is over time they could chew threw it. (hamsters can chew threw plastic not glass) and the more hamsters you have the more wheels you will NEED ( i would say 1 wheel per 2 hamsters) the thing is the more hamsters the more they will fight, to be hones i think got lucky that mine dont fight, also they are all related. ocassinaly they will pick on the smallest one ( my hamster Jenny picks on Amy because i bought amy when they were all adults and since Jenny is the head hamsters, she is testing Amy, but sooner or later they will accept her, they've done it before LOL. but when you go to the pet store make sure he hamsters are not fighting, if they are playing thats fine, but be picky on the ones you pick. but i know i babbled a lot but i would say that tank/cage would be enough for 5-10 hamsters. and one last tip... its tends to be harder to train them when there are more hamsters (i would know) just stay away from to many robos and i would recomend russians/ siberian hamsters ( if you dont know what that is they are the ones that come in many colors) well i hope i helped w/ all this info.
ps i dont know if his works because i have never done it to mine because they dont fight, but i have heard spraying them w/ H2O helps them stop fighting :p
anyway i hope this helpe, once they are all trained they are going to be sooooo fun to play with, just be carful when you are training them...they bite lol. good luck i hope i helped
bye
