The Saitek flight simulator yoke and the CH yoke offer flight simulator fans a choice when it comes to adding realistic controls to your setup. Using a keyboard and mouse does distract somewhat when it comes to flying as it just isn't realistic. If you have decided to upgrade and purchase a yoke, you will soon discover that the two main contenders are the Saitek and CH yokes.
A flight simulator yoke is used as the main control of the aircraft. Of course not all aircraft actually use a yoke. For example the latest Airbus jets use what is called a flight stick, which is similar to a joystick. If you are intending to fly Airbus then you may want to look more closely at joysticks instead of a yoke. On the other hand if you are just learning to fly and are thinking to learn on a Cessna and progress to larger civilian aircraft and jets such as the Boeing series, then you will certainly want to get a yoke.
A yoke basically allows you to control and elevators and ailerons. Pushing and pulling will control the pitch of the aircraft by controlling the angle of the aileron setting. Moving the yoke from left to right will control the elevators and the bank angle of the plane. Although that is the basic function of the yoke, both Saitek and CH have packed more into the control than that.
As the ideal situation is to not have the use the keyboard and mouse at all, other controls are built into the yokes that will free you from struggling to find the right key or move the mouse at an important time in your flying. Probably the biggest different between the Saitek and CH yokes is that the CH unit has a throttle quadrant built in. A throttle quadrant means that it has a number of levers built into the yoke unit that can control the throttle, prop pitch and mixture settings. The advantage of this is of course that you don't need to buy an additional unit to be able to access these controls. Some may say a disadvantage of having the throttle quadrant built in is that it is less realistic, as of course in a real aircraft these controls are separate and are in different locations in the cockpit.
A very important point is the construction of the units. If you are going to do a lot of flying you need to purchase the unit that has the best mechanical construction. It is very frustrating to find the controls not responding or the movements not smooth after a short time of use. So, the bottom line is that it may become a choice between more functionality with the CH as the throttle is built in or possibly better engineering with the Saitek, although this you will need to confirm for yourself.

Besides the money, I also had days where I couldn’t use the PSP, since it was being repaired. Here I’ll try to show you how you can repair the PSP without sending it to Sony.
Fixing/Replacing a Slim Analog Joystick on Your PSP
If you have a slim PSP, you probably know that one of the problems that seem to plague owners is that the analog joystick breaks. You don’t have to do major surgery on your PSP to replace it. In most cases, you know that you have problems with it when the plastic breaks off, it’s stuck moving in only one of the directions, or when it moves on its own.
Some tools that you should have before starting to fix it are the new analog joystick for your slim PSP and a few small screwdrivers, either Flathead or Phillips. The joystick can be bought from Amazon.com, so all you need next is knowing how to assemble it.
First step
First of all, you need to take off the faceplate from the PSP, which will void your warranty of the product. To do this, there are 5 screws that need to be taken off, with the help of the screwdriver with a Phillips head. Pay close attention while you remove the faceplate, so you don’t lose the five screws by mistake. The screen doesn’t need to be removed when you take out the stick.
Second step
Next, take out the analog stick from the PSP, while sliding it to your left. If you need to, wiggle it a bit, so it comes out. The contact that allows the joystick to communicate with the motherboard is made out of plastic and it’s circled with green.
Third step
Install the new joystick by doing the opposite from what you did to remove it.
Now that you learned how to fix the analog joystick of your PSP, without sending it to the service, you will save both time and money when this happens again, to you, or to your friends.
One option would be to buy broken PSP’s, at a reduced price, fix them by using this guide and sell them, while getting a profit. It’s a way to make some extra bucks on the side, without too much effort.

Why does my joy stick keep uncalibrating itself?
I've got a joystick and i installed all the drivers and everything and i checked to see if it was properly calibrated and it was but when i am playing flight simulator x in the middle of a flight the game flickers and then the calibration of the joystick goes everywhere and i have to stop unistall drivers then reinstall and calibrate and then it does it again Again and again.
Why is this?
I have a Speedlink SL-6640 Black Widow Flight stick
