ACCESS 2007 (A Database Program)

Layout View. Layout View speeds up the design of reports and forms. You can add, move or remove a field by simply dragging the field around. Sounds straight forward enough, but just TRY doing that in previous versions of Access!  

EXCEL 2007 (A Spreadsheet Program)

I need help with the Excel spreadsheet program?

I want to know how to reference cells on another sheet when I am working in the same book. I want to set up the first sheet as an inventory program and have the second sheet as my sales tax and income tax calculator. I wanted to have the program automatically export the values to another sheet so I don't have to copy them manually.

I tried to look up the answer in the in-program help function, but it wasn't very helpful.

for example, using sheet1 and sheet2.
your values are in sheet 1, column A, rows 1-5 and labeled as "Cash". you wanted to add it to your receivalbles which is in column B, rows 1-5.

go to sheet2, make your active cell to A1(which is a default), type "=", and click sheet1, from sheet1 select A1-A5 and press "+" then select B1-B5..you would then notice that there is only a given value on A1 in sheet2, so, point your cursor to the lower right of the active cell until it became a "cross-sign" which is called a fill-handle. hold and drag up to A5.. you would have the results as easy as that.
