I also heard that 2012 will be 100th anniversary of Titanic. So, this will be a great movie for any who loves the movie titanic as much as I do.
When the theatrical release of James Cameron's Titanic was delayed from July to December of 1997, media pundits speculated that Cameron's $200 million disaster epic would cause the director's downfall, signal the end of the blockbuster era, and sink Paramount Studios as quickly as the ill-fated luxury liner had sunk on that fateful night of April 14, 1912. Some studio executives were confident, others horrified, but the clarity of hindsight turned Cameron into an Oscar-winning genius, a shrewd businessman, and one of the most successful directors in the history of motion pictures. Titanic would surpass the $1 billion mark in global box-office receipts (largely due to multiple viewings, the majority by teenage girls), win 11 Academy Awards including best picture and director, produce the best-selling movie soundtrack of all time, and make a global superstar of Leonardo DiCaprio. A bona fide pop-cultural phenomenon, the film has all the ingredients of a blockbuster (romance, passion, luxury, grand scale, a snidely villain, and an epic, life-threatening crisis), but Cameron's alchemy of these ingredients proved more popular than anyone could have predicted. His stroke of genius was to combine absolute authenticity with a pair of fictional lovers whose tragic fate would draw viewers into the heart-wrenching reality of the Titanic disaster. As starving artist Jack Dawson and soon-to-be-married socialite Rose DeWitt Bukater, DiCaprio and Kate Winslet won the hearts of viewers around the world, and their brief but never-forgotten love affair provides the humanity that Cameron needed to turn Titanic into an emotional experience. Present-day framing scenes (featuring Gloria Stuart as the 101-year-old Rose) add additional resonance to the story, and although some viewers proved vehemently immune to Cameron's manipulations, few can deny the production's impressive achievements. Although some of the computer-generated visual effects look artificial, others--such as the sunset silhouette of Titanic during its first evening at sea, or the climactic splitting of the ship's sinking hull--are state-of-the-art marvels. In terms of sets and costumes alone, the film is never less than astounding. More than anything else, however, the film's overwhelming popularity speaks for itself. Titanic is an event film and a monument to Cameron's risk-taking audacity, blending the tragic irony of the Titanic disaster with just enough narrative invention to give the historical event its fullest and most timeless dramatic impact. A Walt Disney Classic movie about Aladdin and the magic lamp. plastic protective case good and VHS plays very good.
Disney's 1992 animated feature is a triumph of wit and skill. The high-tech artwork and graphics look great, the characters are strong, the familiar story is nicely augmented with an interesting villain (Jafar, voiced by Jonathan Freeman), and there's an incredible hook atop the whole thing: Robin Williams's frantically hilarious vocal performance as Aladdin's genie. Even if one isn't particularly moved by the love story between the title character (Scott Weinger) and his girlfriend Jasmine (Linda Larkin), you can easily get lost in Williams's improvisational energy and the equally entertaining performances of Freeman and Gilbert Gottfried (as Jafar's parrot). --Tom Keogh

After the success of Jurassic Park in 1993, the floodgates opened for digital special effects, and Jumanji is nothing if not a showcase for computer-generated creepiness guaranteed to give young children a nightmare or two. Whether that was the filmmakers' intention is up for debate, since this is a PG-rated adventure revolving around a mysterious board game that unleashes a terrifying jungle world upon its players, including gigantic spiders, huge mosquitoes, a stampede of rhinos, elephants, and every other jungle beast you can imagine. Robin Williams plays a man-child who's been trapped in the world of "Jumanji" for 26 years until he's freed by two kids who've discovered the game and released its parade of dangerous horrors. A chaotic and misguided attempt at family entertainment, the movie does offer a few good laughs, and the effects are frequently impressive, if not entirely convincing to the eye. --Jeff Shannon

Writer/director/editor/special-effects-supervisor Robert Rodriguez (Spy Kids, Desperado) continues to storm the movie world with The Adventures of SharkBoy and LavaGirl in 3-D. A young boy named Max (Cayden Boyd) finds the real world crashing into his dreams: His parents fight, bullies harrass him at school, and his teacher advises him to get a grip on reality. Towards the end, SharkBoy and LavaGirl crumbles with clumsy story gaps and bland moral advice, but most of the movie explodes with visual invention. A clockwork villain with electrical limbs commands an army of extension-cord snakes; SharkBoy uses his claws to engrave a diagram of the solar system into a chalkboard; LavaGirl's burning feet melt an ice bridge as she runs across it. It's disappointing that Rodriguez's storytelling flounders, but sections of deliciously fluid movie-making make The Adventures of SharkBoy and LavaGirl in 3-D worth seeing nonetheless. The sweetest sound you can hear in the great outdoors is the cheerful tweeting of wild birds. The most beautiful sight in the free open-air is colorful birds flying without a care while performing their daring stunts in the air. When they hang in your territory-yard or garden, you have your own entertainment, not to be outdone by any concert or air show. Thus begins the activity of bird watching. But, how does one go about enticing this delightful entertainment to one's own free air? Read on and you will be educated.
As with most living creatures, one of the basic needs of birds is shelter that protects them from the elements and predators. Once these free-flying birds find a bird house to their liking, your sky show will begin.
The best time to put up a bird house is well in advance of the breeding season. This, surprisingly, would be in late summer or very early fall. Migratory birds scout bird houses on their way down south for the winter and, amazingly, will locate their favorite houses in the spring as they come back. There are those aviaries that do not migrate. For these species, homes put up early in the winter are not too late.
The best birdhouses are constructed from wood. If metal is to be used, aluminum is the best choice and it should be hung in the shade to keep the birdhouse from overheating. Good birdhouses will provide for drainage at the bottom for rainwater and small holes at the top for ventilation.
Birdhouses should be constructed without perches at the entrance to deter predators such as squirrels, cats and larger birds. An overhang over the entrance will help keep the birdhouse cool and inviting.
The location of a birdhouse is, also, very important. Some birds prefer wooded, shady places while others prefer grassy areas. However, the recommended place would be in a sunny, open space away from close trees as to inhibit tree-climbing predators. A thoughtful touch is to plant berry-bearing bushes near the bird houses to provide for those midnight snacks.
The spacing of birdhouses needs to be taken into consideration. Keeping birdhouses 5-30 feet off the ground will help to divert predators and spacing them, at least, 25 feet apart will help resolve territorial issues among the birds.
By following these few tips you will insure yourself to have tenants who will come and entertain you for many a day and you will find your bird watching hours very rewarding.

Take a Tour to Magnificent Rangiroa
No matter you are planning for a memorable honeymoon, a romantic vacation, or an enjoyable holiday with your family and friends, Tahiti and her islands offer excellent choices. There are about 120 islands and coral atolls in Tahiti or French Polynesia, all of which are categorized into five island groups or archipelagos, such as Society Islands, the Marquesas Island groups, Gambier Islands, Austral Islands, and Tuamotu Atolls.
Most popular among the destinations in Society Group are Tahiti, the main island in French Polynesia, Bora Bora, which is perhaps the most romantic places on the earth, Moorea, with its Tiki Village, and Huahine. Included in the Marquesas Island Groups are Hiva Oa, Nuku Hiva, Fatu Hiva, and Ua Pou. Rurutu and Tubuai are some of the most popular islands in the Austral Islands. Gambier Islands is much favored for its Mangareva, which in turn is the smallest French territory. When comes to the Tuamotu Atolls, it is highly famed for such destinations as Manihi and Rangiroa.
Located just an hour's fly from Tahiti, Rangiroa is the largest coral atoll in French Polynesia and the second largest in the world. Rangiroa, literally meaning 'Long Sky' gets its name from the enormous length formed as a result of its more than tiny 200 islets that surround its gorgeous lagoon.
Perhaps the greatest of the attractions in this spectacular atoll is its magnificent jade green lagoon, which is sprawling over an area of about 1600 square kilometers and is about 40 miles long by 20 miles wide and with a depth up to 150 feet.
Further, the lagoon is credited to have the clearest waters in the world. With its coral beaches, bright climate, and lagoon akin to an enormous inland sea, Rangiroa is truly a paradise for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. Rangiroa consists of two passes such as Avatoru Pass, which is famed for its dive spots such as Napoleon and Sharks and Manta point, and the Tiputa Pass with such diving spots as the Wall, Barracudas Point, and Sharks Point. In short, Rangiroa boasts of diving spots to cater to all levels of divers.
For instance, if you are a first time diver, then one of the best choices available at Rangiroa is the Aquarium or Nuhi Nuhi, which has a depth of about 9-30 feet. Likewise, diving spots within Avatoru Pass are also best for beginners, as the current are not much strong.
Further, this area is also a great spot to view such rare marine species as spotted leopard rays, grey sharks, pompano, and silvertip sharks. One of the best diving spots for advanced divers is the drift dive, otherwise known as the Valley, which is in the Tiputa Pass. Since the current here is strong, this area is strictly not for beginners. Further, in this area, divers can come through an array of marine species such as eels, lionfish, stone fish, sharks, and hammerheads.
Another popular spot for diving is Shark Cave, which is at the edge of the Tiputa Pass. An overhang can be found here at an about 115 feet, which serves as shelter from strong currents. Additionally, as the name implies, this spot is a great area for viewing different types of sharks such as blacktips, silvertips, greys, and hammerheads. With a depth of about 45-75 ft, L'Eolienne is also a great spot for diving. Dolphins can be seen in this area, apart from an enormous variety of reef fishes.
A good number of travel agencies and top notch hotels are in the scenario to make your diving in Rangiroa a great experience. There is also an array of centers in order to impart diving classes and render rental diving equipments. Few among them are Blue Dolphins Diving Center, Rangiroa Paradive, Raie Manta Club, and The Six Passengers and Topdive. In fact, diving in Rangiroa is highly prized because of the pass dives in the dive sites of the island and the waters of the lagoon teeming with scores of marine life.
Rangiroa is diveable throughout the year. According to the interest of divers, diving in Rangiroa is classified into three seasons: the hammerhead shark season, which is January through February; the manta ray season, which is from September to October; and rest of the year when other species of fish, apart from manta ray and hammerhead shark, can be seen.
Nowadays, many of the high-end hotels in the area provide superb facilities for an enjoyable diving in Rangiroa. Some even render packages inclusive of accommodation, dining, and facilities for diving and snorkeling in the destination.
