Because that is the first one of the sequence of modification and inventions. The lighting lamp is the grand mother of the all electronic devices because the first ever vegetable oil burning lamp which was a cup made from mud. To protect it from the wind it was covered with globe of glass having up and down holes, Some other modifications drew it up to the shape of lantern to use the kerocene oil. Various modification of the lamps with grids and glass globes of many structures were made. Humphery Davy invented a lamp for the mines covering the flame with the grid.
On other side the electricity was known to the human beings from early history in shape of thunders and in their myths they believe the thunder as goddes which named zeus inder and so many others. In islam the thunder is called Raad which is described as angel of god.
In 1600 century willim gilbert discovered static electric and the name of electricity was used by sir Thomas Brown (1605-1682). Steiphen Gray and charlis dufe told about the conductors non-conductors and the kinds of electricity i-e static and mobile. Benjmin Franklin by flying a kite in to the charged clouds proved that also electricity.
After production of the electricity the human mind began to think about the relevance between fire and electric sparks which both give light and heat the basic need of them.The first struggle in this matter was done by German scientist Henrich Geissler (1814-1889) he discovered light can be produce in a vacuum globe when specific electric potential is applied on the electrodes on both sides. In 1878 sir william crooks discovered that the light is basically particles.

When he was busy in experiments for the enhancement, unusually he felt a shock of electric current on the upper side of the incandescent lamp then he astonished because the bulb was dry, On Checking he found that there was a piece of naked wire which was left during manufacturing of glass globe by mistake. He did not ignored it and wrote it in his diary.
After this unusual he researched on it and discovered that electrons emits in the vacuum, which is space charge named Edison effect.
He constructed another bulb & fitted a metallic plate having distance from the filament, When gave positive charges to the plate the galvano meter indicated that the current flows only in one direction as flows in the crystal diode, so the valve diode was invented.
later on when a grid between the cathode and plate was installed the flows of the current was controlled the modification of the Fleming in 1904 rutted to the invention of a detector of E.M waves. Lee-de Forest made a triode valve in 1907 and in 1912 lee-de forest & edwin armstrong used this triode tube in oscillator circuit. In 1916 walterschotkey invented tetroted tube and in 1926 it was converted to pentode by Benginmin telegun.
After knowing all these principles of the electronics the scientists believed that if any other solid state thing can be used in place of this thermionic valve that might be those crystals of which the primarily diode valve was substitute. after various experiments in 1947 the germanium diode by fixing third electrode to it the first point contact transistor was invented by the willim Shokley,walterbrittian & john bordian which was the substitute of the valve.
Its output function was directly proportional to its input circuit like valve later on reverse functioning transistor was invented and thus by the problem of noise amplification was solved many types of transistors came in existence and to make the circuits smaller and smaller these were integrated in one body then on one chip. And by their logic of comparison the computer could be made so you can say that many other electronic devices and this computer before you is the grandson of the grandson of the mud lamp. Now you guess who will be the grand son of this computer.
As I know the grandson of its grandsons also because the live cells in the chips are trying to be used.
