Wiring Upgrades
The most important factor in a reliable and efficient lighting system is the wiring. If the HID’s and other hardware is of the highest quality and the wiring is not up to the mark the expensive lighting system is of not use and the wiring will make the system vulnerable to hazards like fusing of the bulbs and catching fire destroying the vehicle itself. The online market offers a variety of wiring upgrades to enhance your purchase with more reliable operations. The wire relay harness is very popular for a reliable connection of power to the HID conversion kit. Some vehicles will require a wire relay harness so that a HID kit can work properly with the vehicle. The other factor for a good wiring upgrade is the flickering problem with some HID systems this wiring upgrade will eliminate the problem. Some vehicles needs both to work with a HID conversion system.
To make your conversion from stock headlights to a safe and easy HID (High Intensity Discharge) lighting system you need a good quality wiring upgrade. There is a very big difference between an ordinary wiring system and the upgrades available in the online market. The entire upgrades uses new generation technology as opposed to older technology which was the original HID system concept. With the new generation technology, all wiring is handled, safely, cleanly and professionally. All that is required is a small drilled round hole in the rear access panel that will be resealed with the supplied rubber grommet which is permanently attached to the special wiring. All wiring connections are of the new standards and uses plastic connectors. The new wiring upgrades makes the installations very easy and the installation time of bulb and ballast takes 30 minutes but it can actually be accomplished in 10 minutes. Connecting to power is inside the headlamp and no cutting or soldering of wiring is required. The power to the headlamp remains unchanged.
The wiring upgrades eliminate the annoying bulb out dashboard indicator light. The other major problem that is faced when the wiring is not up to the mark is when your vehicles new hid kit flashes like a strobe light when you start your vehicle, this wiring upgrades is best for your vehicle. The new iminator plug smoothes out the voltage and provides constant power to the hid conversion kit eliminating the flickering lights. These plugs will also provide the correct resistance to fool the vehicles computer into thinking there are good headlight bulbs in use. This will turn off the annoying dash board bulb out indicator light. This product is recommended for newer vehicles with this problem and not required for many vehicles. If you recently installed HID kit which is causing you flickering problems or flashing on/off problems then you need the wire relay harness with built in Flicker problem solvers. This will draw power from the battery directly and give the signal back to your cars computer the signal it’s looking for so it stops disrupting power to the HID.

how can i stop my fuel pump from running constantly?
i bought this 1989 ford ranger as.. something to do. one of the problems is that the fuel pump won't shut off. i checked the fuel relay switches and it was busted.. when i replaced it, it didn't do anything because who ever had it last wired it up all weird and it's pretty much just straight wired to the battery and i can't find the original wires to hook it up right again!

it's tied into the fuse box.. so it shuts off.
You could go to NAPA or Partsource, or any other car part store, and get a wiring diagram for the fuel pump circuit for your vehicle. This will help you to determine which wire does what, by the color of the wire, and the color of its stripe. For example GRN/WHT means a green wire with a white stripe. Many stores now offer this service. If not, you could go to the library and they will have manuals there that you can look at.
