Still, the Giro Atmos SE is a damn nice helmet. The question is, do you like it? If you do then you didn't pay too much for it. It would be better to spend more money on a helmet you like, and that you will wear, than spend less on one you _don't_ like and _don't_ wear.
If you're still bothered by how much you spent, just don't tell anyone. Instead, tell them how much you like the helmet and it was worth every penny.
