Michael Jai White assumes the role of heavyweight champion "Iceman" Chambers (played by Ving Rhames in the 2002 original) for this action-packed sequel. While visiting Russia, Chambers is framed and sent to prison as part of a scheme by the Russian Mafia to put him into the ring with the jail's foremost kickboxer (Scott Adkins). Ben Cross, Eli Danker also star. 98 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital stereo Surround; Subtitles: English, Spanish; audio commentary; featurette.
Michael Jai White replaces Ving Rhames in Undisputed II: Last Man Standing, a sequel to the 2002 Undisputed, in which a heavyweight champion boxer is sent to prison as a ruse to get him to fight a champion pugilist on the slammer circuit. White is serviceable as "Iceman" Chambers, this time arrested in Russia (framed for drug possession) and sent to hard time in a horrible prison. There Iceman resists efforts to convince him to fight a champion kickboxer (Scott Adkins), but the system is determined to break him or get him to cooperate with the plan. This brutal adventure is pretty much by-the-numbers as follow-up features go, but it is generally exciting, and martial arts buffs will certainly enjoy the taut action sequences. --Tom Keogh

in 1967 and 1968, Ice were a much-touted but slightly mysterious recording band, constantly on the radio (including the famous John Peel Show with Jimi Hendrix and Traffic), but seldom seen on television and never live. The band later joined up as Affinity. This CD represents the groups entire recorded output of the 60s rock group Ice. Angel Air. 2004.

In the tradition of Black Hawk Down and Jarhead comes a searing portrait of young men fighting a modern-day war. A powerhouse work of nonfiction, Generation Kill expands on Evan Wright's acclaimed three-part series that appeared in Rolling Stone during the summer of 2003. His narrative follows the twenty-three marines of First Recon who spearheaded the blitzkrieg on Iraq. This elite unit, nicknamed "First Suicide Battalion," searched out enemy fighters by racing ahead of American battle forces and literally driving into suspected ambush points. Evan Wright lived on the front lines with this platoon from the opening hours of combat, to the fall of Baghdad, through the start of the guerrilla war. He was welcomed into their ranks, and from this bird's-eye perspective he tells the unsettling story of young men trained by their country to be ruthless killers. He chronicles the triumphs and horrors-physical, moral, emotional, and spiritual-that these marines endured while achieving victory in a war many questioned before it began. Wright's book is a timely account of war; even more important, it is a timeless description of the human drama taking place on today's battlefields. Written with brutal honesty, raw intensity, and startling intimacy, Generation Kill is destined to become a classic and take its place in the canon of the most captivating and authentic works of war literature.

There were times at home when Richard would have one of his outbursts and break things and then lock himself in his office. Merrick would ask him to please calm down, to âplease relax, Daddy.â During these episodes, Richard would explain in a matter-of-fact way, âYou know if . . . if I kill Mommy, if something happens and she dies, Iâll have to kill you all . . . I canât leave any witnesses.ââYes, Daddy. I know, Daddy,â she said.As strange and horrible a thing as this was to tell a child, Richard was trying to let Merrick know in advanceâout of considerationâwhat might happen. He wanted her to understand that he was doing such a thing out of . . . love. Only out of love.He loved Barbara too much. He loved the children too much. That was the problem. The only way he could deal with their loss, if he inadvertently killed Barbara, was to kill them. That was how Richard had dealt with all his problems since he was a child. âBut you, Merrick . . . Youâll be the hardest to kill. You understand that?ââYes. Daddy,â she said, and she did understand this. She knew she was his favorite, and she coveted that. ---from The Ice Man

When I walk out of the tunnel, I can see the lights, hear the music, feel the crowd, but it all begins to close off as I near the cage. By that point Im thinking, Ive been training hard, its time to focus....Every man is born with a fight-or-flight instinct, and mine is to fight. It always has been. From the Prologue Whats it like to have no fear, to make people cower in their shoes, to know the sweet satisfaction of knocking a guy out with a single, devastating punch? You have to read my book to find out. Ive been called the baddest man on the planet. Im the face of Ultimate Fighting Championship, the leader in mixed martial arts and the fastest growing sport in America. In 1998 I won my first MMA fight. Not long after, the UFC came calling, and eventually fought my way to become the #1 ranked light-heavyweight contender in the world. Not bad for a bartender with a college degree in accounting. I was raised by a single mother and inspired by my grandfather, a first- generation Irish American from Mafia-run Brooklyn. I learned how to fight at a very young age. Now Im 6'2", 220 pounds, and a trained lethal weapon, but Im also fiercely loyal, maybe even a bit sensitive, and unexpectedly romantic. In raw detail, and with total honesty, Im going to tell you the story of my fighting lifeboth inside and outside the Octagon including my childhood in the poor section of Santa Barbara, gritty insider accounts of my major fights, stories behind my trademark mohawk and nickname, my ongoing rivalry with Tito Ortiz and deep-rooted friendship with Dana White, and how I balance life as a father, a UFC champ, and a superstaror try to, anyway. With never-before-seen photos, Iceman is my true, no-holds-barred story of fighting my way to become a champion.

The Diamond Iceman
If you have shot the Diamond Iceman or even been around someone who was shooting one I do not have to tell you how quite and recoil free the bow is. The Iceman with Bowtech’s Center Pivot technology brings unbelievable accuracy, speed, and silence all together to make the ultimate bow. From its sleek slim grip to it’s masterfully designed rotating module solo cam it is an engineering masterpiece that any archer would be glad to own.
The Diamond Iceman’s revolutionary solo cam gives it a smooth as silk draw with super efficient speeds while keeping a rotating module which gives a giant 7 inches of draw length adjustment all with just the turn of an allen wrench. This means a bow that shoots extremely fast but pulls back truly wonderful, a draw curve that is smooth as silk and you can enjoy and shoot for hour with a lot less fatigue then most bows in that speed class. On top of that, it has a rotating module that with just taking a screw out and sliding the module around you can easily customize the draw in half inch increment all the way from 24â€-30†with no bow press needed. This cam is a work of art for the archery world and something unique to the Diamond Iceman.
The Diamond Iceman’s riser comes from its big brother company Bowtech. It is called a center pivot design and greatly reduces recoil and also torque which maximizes forgiveness in how the bow shoots.  The riser design also features a slim grip which helps with torque as well. The riser blends functionality with comfortably to make a great shooting experience.
The Iceman has some stats that make it a forgiving bow but with some mobility in mind as well. The brace height on the bow is a generous 7 1/8†make easily repeatable and torque free. It has An Axle to Axle of 31 ½†making it maneuverable in tight places but still not so short that you lose forgiveness. An IBO Rating of 310-318 feet per second giving it great Kinetic Energy at 78.6 foot pounds almost double which is needed on a big game animal. And with all of this it is paired with an easily adjustable let off system that is adjustable from 65% to 80% so you can find the most comfortable and accurate place for your shooting style.
The Diamond Iceman is a great bow that harnesses many breakthroughs in today’s archery technology. It is no wonder that Outdoor life magazine rated the Diamond Iceman extremely while and gave it their covenanted reader’s choice product award for 2009. This bow would be a great shooter for any archer and one that archer was sure to enjoy for years to come.
