After an impressive debut season, the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars roars back for a sophomore slate of adventures that tops its predecessor in both action and mythos-related dramatics. Situated in the Star Wars timeline between Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the 22 episodes center around Anakin Skywalker's promotion to Jedi Knight in an attempt to rally the Jedis in the face of General Grievous's attacks. Joined by Obi-Wan Kenobi, he's sent to the planet Geonosis in pursuit of the villain, only to find its population enslaved--and worse--by the Separatists. The fight for the people of Geonosis is easily the highlight of the series, but secondary story lines offer solid intrigue as well, most notably in the arrival of bounty hunter Cad Bane, whose mission is to find children sensitive to the Force, and the appearance of Boba Fett, who vows to avenge the death of his father by Mace Windu. A rampaging giant monster, scads of political intrigue, and some genuinely impressive battle sequences all add to the enjoyment, but what really elevates season two is its darker tone, as evidenced in "Brain Invaders," where Anakin's torture of a prisoner gives a hint of his future, and the terrifying, zombiefied prisoners of Geonosis. The more serious approach, as well as the lack of comic relief (most notably, no Jar Jar Binks), will undoubtedly please adult Star Wars fans, though younger devotees might be somewhat disturbed by the turn of events; thankfully, there is plentiful action and derring-do to balance out the murkier deeds. Extras include substantive featurettes in which director Dave Filoni and his crew discuss a quartet of episodes, including the Geonosis story line and the influence of Godzilla on their own reptilian menace. There's also a detailed, 68-page booklet filled with character design and the artists' notes. --Paul Gaita
The “Clone Wars” goes back to the original Star Wars film when Obi-Wan Kenobi tells Luke Skywalker that he was once a Jedi knight the same as your father and that they fought together in the Clone Wars. Since that moment fans have been obsessed with what the clone wars were. This new TV series takes place immediately after the events of Star Wars-Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The series follows Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice Anakin Skywalker and introduces us to some new characters such as Ahsoka Tano a girl Jedi knight as well as characters we already know.Product Measures: .94 x 5.63 x 7.06

Worry not, Disney fans--this special edition DVD of the beloved Cinderella won't turn into a pumpkin at the strike of midnight. One of the most enduring animated films of all time, the Disney-fied adaptation of the gory Brothers Grimm fairy tale became a classic in its own right, thanks to some memorable tunes (including "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes," "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo," and the title song) and some endearingly cute comic relief. The famous slipper (click for larger image) We all know the story--the wicked stepmother and stepsisters simply won't have it, this uppity Cinderella thinking she's going to a ball designed to find the handsome prince an appropriate sweetheart, but perseverance, animal buddies, and a well-timed entrance by a fairy godmother make sure things turn out all right. There are a few striking sequences of pure animation--for example, Cinderella is reflected in bubbles drifting through the air--and the design is rich and evocative throughout. It's a simple story padded here agreeably with comic business, particularly Cinderella's rodent pals (dressed up conspicuously like the dwarf sidekicks of another famous Disney heroine) and their misadventures with a wretched cat named Lucifer. There's also much harrumphing and exposition spouting by the King and the Grand Duke. It's a much simpler and more graceful work than the more frenetically paced animated films of today, which makes it simultaneously quaint and highly gratifying. --David Kronke DVD Features For another of its classic films, Disney delivers another dazzling DVD with a gorgeous, razor-sharp picture and 5.1 sound. (Note: the 1949 film is properly presented in full-screen format, 1.33 aspect ratio, because widescreen films weren't made until the '50s.) The best part of the supplemental features is the archival material, the absolute highlight of which is two unused songs, "Cinderella's Work Song" (in which Cinderella imagines multiplying herself à la the Sorcerer's Apprentice) and "Dancing on a Cloud." Bippity-boppity-boo! (click for larger image) Because these numbers were never animated, they're accompanied by stylish illustrations from the Disney artists, and they're simply marvelous to look at. The artist of much of that material, Mary Blair, gets her due in a 15-minute featurette, while the better known "Nine Old Men" are the subject of a round-table discussion among some of today's top animators. In addition, a 38-minute documentary covers their contributions to specific characters of Cinderella as well as the film in general and the vocal cast. Also on the historical side is "The Cinderella That Almost Was," tracking the development of the project through decades of original Disney concepts, characters, and songs, including the 1922 silent "Laugh-o-Gram," which is also included in its entirety. The pumpkin transformed (click for larger image) Additional musical material includes three radio programs and a short promo of the movie by Perry Como, in which he summarizes the plot amid some songs by the Fontaine Sisters, star Ilene Woods, and the host himself. Seven other unused songs (17 minutes total) are available in audio-only. The material for kids is on the sparse side, consisting of two music videos, Disney Channel personality Sally (from "Mike's Super Short Show") learning how to become a princess with the help of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crew and others, a minor dancing-princess feature, and a DVD-ROM design studio. Oddest extra: ESPN's "top Cinderella stories," including the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team and Joe Namath's New York Jets, although stories on Mia Hamm and tennis's Williams sisters should appeal to the film's primary target audience of young girls. --David Horiuchi Cinderella Throughout the Years Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (1957 Television Production) Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (1965) The Slipper and the Rose (1976) Faerie Tale Theatre - Cinderella (1982) Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (1997) Ever After - A Cinderella Story(1998)

The Ergonomic Computer Mouse- a Look at the Best and the Worst
Too many designs to count and too many functions to mention, the computer mouse has come a long way from its one-button job. We take a look back as well as a look forward to the ergonomic computer mouse, styles that have changed the way we “click†over years.
The Foot Pedal Computer Mouse
I can see where the foot pedal computer mouse would come in handy for a person with disabilities, say, unable to use their arms, but for the average person, this may be more challenging. This is definitely an option for eliminating all hand pain, since it’s only one’s feet that are making the clicks happen. The foot pedal mouse product information states:
• The three pedal system allows you to use one pedal for the shift key, one for the ctrl key and one for the alt. However, they can be programmed to be any key on the keyboard, or emulate a mouse click. For many users, the pain associated with mousing is caused by the action of clicking, not from moving the mouse.
The Finger Mouse (Instead of cramping the whole hand, just cramp one finger)
There are several different styles of the finger mouse. From finger computer mice that look like computer mouse pens, to little finger computer mouse rings and touch pads that only require your fingertips. The finger mouse has been around for awhile and comes in an assortment of styles. Using just fingertips on a trackpad, rather than one’s whole hand and wrist moving around, can greatly reduce stress on the wrist.
Handshoe Mouse
The Handshoe Mouse was developed by two medical universities in Holland, with stress elimination in mind. Instead of wrapping one’s hand to cling to the computer mouse, a person places their whole hand on the mouse, like a hand in a glove, this computer mouse design releases tension that is caused by the grip posture and moves the hand and wrist in comfortable positions.
Switch Mouse
This computer mouse is 30 percent bigger than a regular computer mouse and built to support not just the hand but the whole wrist and encourages the user to move around the mouse using an arm motion, not just a hand.
A Look Into The Future of The Ergonomic Computer Mouse
The future of the computer mouse may be a little bleak- as people move into touch screen monitors. But until that happens, there are numerous wireless computer mice, joystick computer mice, rolling ball mice and extra large or extra small models. One latest computer mouse model is the Microsoft Explorer Mini that’s wireless, with a blue track sensor, a USB transceiver that has the capability to move across a screen 30 feet away. Ergonomic features include neutral orientation for right and left handed users, solid shape and comfort on wrists.
Who knows what to expect for the future though- desks without mice at all, giving way to strictly touch screen technology, voice activated computer mice or spongy-clay like models that form to your hand specifically.
Use your current computer mouse and look online at some of the first computer mice ever invented. As far as they have come in function and design, you will be quite surprised to see just how similar the first ones are to the fancy pants ones today.

How important is it to have a mouse pad?
I have an A4 tech wheel mouse and my old mouse pad is gross, so I threw it away. I have the mouse on my desk which is very flat and slick. Are mouse pads as important today as they were when mouses (mice?) first came out?
Well it depends what kind of mouse you have...you dont really need one with the mouse you have.
A School Where You Shouldn't Raise Your Hand
Before she began the lesson, Kerry Ferguson reminded her kindergarteners not to bother each other, not to interrupt -- and not to raise their hands before speaking. Some timid, some eager, the tiny students offered up their ideas about a story in which the mouse saves a lion by chewing through a net.
