7. Yamaha 6.1 home theater system is pretty much cheaper for its price. The price by no way justifies the kind of features and quality it provide in almost all the aspects. If we go and have a look at other brand home theater systems with the same features and qualities, it would definitely be much more expensive and will end up digging a hole in our pockets. It is a wonderful buy and it will not get any better than this. All those people who do not have much knowledge about home theater systems can go for this with their eyes closed.

VGA to S-Video: Useful for synchronizing images on monitors and televisions
A VGA to S-Video converter is used to convert a VGA signal to S-Video. This device takes a VGA signal from the computer and converts it to an S-Video signal format which can be viewed on the television. It supports NTSC, SECAM and PAL formats. They are used with PC's, iMacs, Laptops, or desktops with video cards that have the 15-pin HD connector and with displays that accept S-Video.
The VGA to S-Video device does not require any additional software for conversion and has features which allow horizontal and vertical scaling, picture positioning, and brightness, sharpness and flicker control, thus enabling adjustment of video as required. It can be powered using the USB port on the computer; works on the principle of plug and play and can handle almost any refresh rate. In order for this arrangement to work, simply connect the computers’ VGA card output directly through the VGA input port of the converter and output the S-video connection into your display. Compact in size, this device is compatible with any operating system and can handle resolutions of 600x480, 800x600, and 1024x768. A special feature of this device is the area Zoom function which allows areas of the screen to be enlarged for special emphasis. From its single VGA input, this device can convert and transmit video to three outputs including, S-Video, RCA and VGA for simultaneous TV/CRT viewing. With these multiple outputs, this VGA to S-Video conversion device can simultaneously display on both TV screen and PC monitor. This device is used in instances where PC signals need to be converted to standard video.
A VGA to Video converter can be used to extend the life of existing equipment instead of spending thousands of dollars upgrading. A popular converter choice, they are often used in instances where video conferences or presentations need to be displayed on large screen TVs for group viewing such as in boardrooms, classrooms and training facilities. Once I hook up my laptop to my TV with a monitor cable and an RCA sound cable, how do I get the picture on TV?
If I have both the blue monitor cable and the RCA cable hooked up to my Samsung Flat Panel LCD TV, how do I get the picture from the Laptop to the TV? Which buttons do I press on the computer and what input should the TV be on?
First, sorry about my English.
Well, just press Fn+SomeKey that have a monitor symbol on it. It depends on the Laptop you're using. I'm using Acer Laptop and I press Fn+F5.
If it doesn't work, try this.
If you're using Windows XP, go to control panel, then open the Display. Once the Display Setting window appears, select Settings Tab. Then choose your TV instead of laptop's monitor.
Hope this will help.
