Pioneer Plasma HDTV: The Television of the New Millennium
From the simple boxed-type ones, today’s television sets have evolved into semi-slim, and finally into flat versions. This is what other companies refer to as Plasma TV. What’s more, while the TVs became slimmer; they also became better, as they now possess the High Definition feature (or HDTV).

This feature is helpful especially if you are watching action-packed shows like sports games and suspense movies. The pictures are sharp enough that you’ll keep your eyes glued to the monitor.
When it comes to color management and filter, the Elite PRO has a slight advantage. You can adjust the color of the Elite PRO screen based on the type of environment where the TV is located. If the place is well-lit, then you can adjust the TV’s brightness so that it will automatically suit its surroundings. If you have a multimedia room and you have placed this type of Pioneer Plasma HDTV in a dark room like those in home theaters, you can adjust its brightness so it will not strain your eyes while watching. The glare will surely be absent with its astounding color filter feature that will allow you to achieve a sharp and bright image without hurting your eyes.
Pioneer offers a warranty to all of its TVs, whether they are still the bulky-boxed type or the high-tech flat ones. For the PDP, there is a one year warranty (but some stores offer two years warranty for PDP TVs) while the Elite PRO has at least 2 years of extended warranty.
But just like any other products, it also has its flaws. Most flat screen TVs can be easily damaged with slight pressure, unsuitable room temperature and improper handling. As some say, plasma TVs, once broken, becomes disposable gadgets so it is very important to take good care of any of the mentioned Pioneer Plasma HDTV models.
