R4 cards are adapters that are used with handheld devices that they are compatible with. They allow your device to operate with a larger memory thus creating more features for you to use such as a video player, MP3 player, web browser, word processor, as well as allowing you to store pictures and videos and play games. There are two main types of R4 card; the standard R4 memory card and the R4i card. The R4 card works with the Nintendo DS and the R4i card works with the Nintendo DSi device.
There are also further variations of R4 memory cards such as the R4DS Upgrade-II, R4 Advance, R4DS III, New R4, R4 Deluxe, R4 Pro, R4 SDHC and R4 Ultra. These all work in the same way and are still R4 memory cards, with the difference being they have different names.
The R4 memory fits into the slot in your Nintendo DS device, where the standard Nintendo card normally goes. The R4 card is exactly the same size as the original Nintendo card. The R4 adapter will accept Micro SD cards up to 16GB though this will depend on which version you have.
The R4i card which is compatible with the Nintendo DS can hold on average anything from 1 to 60 games at one time. This of course depends on the size of the game but these devices must only be used to back up games you have purchased and hold a legal license for.
The beauty and benefit of having an R4 card is that it allows you to have access to a video player, MP3 player, web browser and games, all at one time. You can also back up your games, pictures, music and videos on the Micro SD card meaning your device becomes super portable and is a great gadget to take away on holiday for example.
There is a slight difference to the two versions of the basic R4 memory cards. The first version of the R4 card was created with a spring loaded into the Micro SD slot. These springs were subsequently removed from the Micro SD slot after they were found to be unreliable and so the R4 card version 2 was launched. The above mentioned variations of the R4 memory cards all work in the same manner except some have a much larger memory and so can hold more data. These do however, require the use of different software.

Micro Business Cards: Perfect for Networking
Micro business cards tend to get noticed easily because of their small size and can be used as tags, reminders or even invitations. Their varied uses make them quite effective for networking and promotional purposes.
Micro Business Cards: Different From Regular Business Cards
Micro business cards are becoming increasingly popular because of the several benefits they offer over the regular business cards. Since they are nearly half the size of the regular business cards, micro business cards take up less storage space and are thus highly in demand. Their small size also makes them stand out in a crowd of business cards and leave a long lasting impression in the minds of the viewer.
In this highly competitive era, it is vital to stay ahead of one’s peers and competitors, and micro business cards can be an effective tool for this. These business cards tend to give the impression that the owner of the card is willing and capable of doing something new and innovative. A positive impression in the minds of prospective customers and associates is essential for the success and popularity of a business, and the use of small sized business cards can help one in doing so.
Small sized business cards can also be used as tags on various sales or gift items. Their small size makes them ideal for attachment with any bigger item or gift with the help of glue or a small string. Micro business cards are ideal for writing out small messages, reminders and even personalized invitations.
Micro business cards tend to be cheaper than the normal sized business cards because of the lesser amount of paper and ink used in their printing. Usage of less paper and ink also makes this type of business card environmental friendly.
Variants of Micro Business Cards
Small sized business cards can be made of paper, metal, rubber, wood or any other material. The advancement in technology has also enabled the development of micro business cards that include a CD-ROM. The inclusion of an interactive CD-ROM in micro business cards enables the inclusion of a lot of information, such as printed material, pictures, animated 3D graphics, and even interactive forms. The inclusion of a CD-ROM allows one to take the prospective customers on a virtual tour of one’s business and thus reduces the sales cycle.

How does the micro sd card work for the LG wave?
I just bought an LG wave and I want to use the music option. I understand that it uses a micro sd card and plan on purchasing one. My question is however, they are much more expensive on Alltel, because they charge your for software for you computer and a cord. Couldn't you simply just buy a micro sd card from walmart, plug it into your computer and drag songs over to it or is the software really required? If anyone has an LG wave please help me with this question, thanks.
Yes it uses a mico sd card. I bought mine from alltel and it was a ripoff! You should just get it from walmart or werever. No you dont need any software. You just drag them over. You can also save your photos on it and your video. When you have the card you can take a hours worth of video or more determining on what size of card you get. I hope this helped.
