The Leviton ODS10-ID Decora wall switch occupancy sensor is the ideal energy-saving choice to provide automatic (auto on/off and manual on/auto off) lighting control in a variety of commercial and residential applications, including offices, conference rooms, multimedia rooms, child-care centers, and more. The ODS10 is the perfect solution for controlling a wide variety of load types. It features a low-profile digital design and vandal-resistant PIR lens. It does not require a neutral connection, and it installs in place of a single-pole wall switch to fit in a standard wall box.ODS10-ID Decora Wall Switch Occupancy SensorAt a Glance:Automatic lighting control; 180-degree field of view; 2,100 square feet of coverageUse with incandescent lamps, fluorescent, and low-voltage lighting with electronic or magnetic ballastsConfigurable for optimum sensitivity and performanceLow-profile design eliminates obtrusive scanning device lookFive-year limited warranty180-degree field of view; provides approximately 2,100 square feet of coverage (shown in white). View larger.Field of ViewAutomatic Lighting Control for Energy SavingsIt's well-known that turning off the lights when leaving the room is one of the simplest ways to cut down on energy usage. Yet it's not always convenient or easy to remember, especially in places where a variety of people are coming and going throughout the day.The ODS10-ID helps eliminate the problem of load type selection by providing automatic control of incandescent lamps, fluorescent, and low-voltage lighting with electronic or magnetic ballasts. It provides an adjustable 180-degree field of view with optional adjustments for sensitivity, ambient light override, and delayed off time. The unit also features a manual override switch that can be used to keep lights off while an area is occupied, which may be desired in conference rooms and other areas during slide or film presentations. For increased energy savings, the ODS10-ID offers a light sensor which provides an ambient light override option that can be set between 2 and 500+ foot-candles at full brightness to prevent the sensor from switching lights on when there's sufficient sunlight, regardless of occupancy.About PIR TechnologyThe ODS10-ID uses passive infrared (PIR) detection technology via a segmented Fresnel lens to monitor a room for occupancy. This specialized lens divides the field of view into sensor zones. When a person passes into or out of a sensor zone, the sensor detects motion and switches the lights on. The lights will remain on as long as there is an occupant in the room. When the space being monitored by the sensor is unoccupied for the preset time you've chosen, the unit will switch the lights on.Long Life and Automatic or Manual OperationTo ensure longer service life and compatibility with electronic ballasts, the ODS10-ID carefully times its switching-contact opening and closing with the zero crossing point of the AC power curve (Zero Crossing Technology). Additionally, a latching relay provides prevents product failure when used with high inrush loads. For manual control, the ODS10-ID features a convenient push-button switch. If the lights are off, pressing the button will turn lights on and keep them on for as long as the room is occupied. This mode is ideal for areas where manual on switching is required but automatic off switching is desired for energy savings (CEC Title 24 Compliant). Lights can also be turned off manually at any time by pressing the push button. For three-way and four-way control, the ODS10-ID features multi-location capability, where multiple sensors can work with one load. Multiple sensors are wired together with the load to turn the lights on. Both sensors must time out or both manual buttons must be pressed for the lights to turn off.Compliancy and Warranty InformationUL-listed and CSA certified, the Leviton ODS10-ID Decora wall switch occupancy sensor complies with California Title 24 Energy Code and FCC regulations, and is backed by a five year limited warranty. What's in the BoxLeviton ODS10-ID Decora wall switch occupancy sensor and manual. Why Not Just File a Medical Malpractice Suit?
Medical malpractice is a serious problem that one should seek litigation for. Some people may find it very difficult to file suit. Some people do not know where to begin to look for the right representation. Others may feel that filing a lawsuit is too much work. Of course because of the nature of medical malpractice, the people that should be filing suit may not be able to.
Sometimes knowing the right place to find a medical malpractice lawyer can be challenging. There are several places one might look to find a lawyer. The Internet is the most obvious and best choice. There one can find a plethora of information. One can find out about past cases lawyers have been a part of and also get testimonials from past clients. Of course the phone book would also have some information but it is much more limited. One could not find things like personal impressions on how past cases have been. There are also lots of commercials on T.V. for lawyers. One could always try and just call the number provided to find a medical malpractice lawyer.
For some though that even that may prove to be too much. It can be a daunting task to go out and find a medical malpractice lawyer. Many people give up because they do not want to go through all or the work involved. There is a lot of research and paper work to be filled out. There are also lots of meetings and appointments to make. Sometimes people just feel overwhelmed and decide to wait. This can be just as bad. There are often time limits around filing medical malpractice suits. Also, sometimes people who have just had their trust lost, get depressed. Depression causes apathy. These people may not care about filing suit because they do not care about anything.
Although depression can be a terrible side effect of medical malpractice, often times the side effects are far worse. When these side effects are serious, filing suit may be difficult if not impossible for a person to accomplish. Sometimes people are physical unable to go about their daily lives. If a botched surgery has left a person paralyzed, they would have other more serious concerns to address before they had time to work with a lawyer. These people often also have financial problems. They have medical bills and may have lost their job. A person without a job cannot easily afford a lawyer. Other times the victim of medical malpractice is left in a coma. Other times the victim may have died. In these cases it would fall upon others to file suit. Again these people are in turn victims of medical malpractice and suffer from all of the same problems.

do ferrets need a lot of medical care?
I really want a ferret but my mom says her friend who has ferrets spends a lot of money on medical care for them, so she wont let me have one. is it true that they need a lot of medical care?
i forgot to add, i have a hamster, would the ferret hurt the hamster?
Most states require that ferrets receive a yearly rabies vaccination and sometimes a yearly distemper vacc. Check up and vacc. can cost between $50+ depending on where you live and what vet you choose.
Young ferrets monthly bills may be fairly reasonable, but as ferrets age they are extremly likely to get adrenal disease, Insulinoma, Kidney Disease/Renal Failure, and other common ferret illnesses. You are more likely to have a ferret get health problems when they get older than not, and older is only about 4, so expect high vet bills for about half its life.
Most ferrets sold come from one of two mass breeding facilities. These facilities breed indiscriminately, and do not care about genetics, health, etc.
Most of the treatments for ferret illnesses are expensive. Last winter I noticed my oldest male(4 yrs), was losing weight and hair(sign of adrenal disease), I had to get him tested(blood work, etc), which cost $300. He ended up not having adrenal disease, which would have cost $200 a month for Lupron Depot(for the rest of him life, which could have been years), or a surgery costing over $1000, plus the cost of post and pre-op.
Proper ferret care is expensive, they are prone to illness due to bad breeding. I have 4 ferrets are fully expect that as they age I will be paying out huge vet bills to treat them for some type of illness.
As for the hamster, they will not get along. Ferrets original use was hunting small game. They will see you hamster as prey(kind of like a cat would). That does not necessarily mean that small animal owners cannot be ferret owner, just that the two need to be kept seperate at all times.
