how can i bolt my amplifier and subs down in my trunk so its hard to steal?
i always lock my doors but thief's go far to get stuff that they want so whats the best way to bolt the subs and the amp into the trunk without messing up my car
Remove the subwoofer from the box. Drill through the box into the vehicle's sheet metal and secure it, careful not to drill through any wiring or fuel lines/tank. Replace the subwoofer.
Another option is to add some L brackets to the box and into the vehicle sheet metal.
Best to use some type of tamper proof screws.
If you used Eye bolts, you can run a cable through it, but it will rattle and make unwanted noise.
