how in the world do you unpug a IDE cable from a DVD- writer drive, i tired but it won't unplug form the drive! HELP!
They are in very tight as you have observed. Put a thumb on each side of the plastic block and your fingers on the underside of the ribbon cable. Grasp tightly and GENTLY rock back and forth while pulling. Be careful you do not bend or break the pins. Good Luck.
