Round-nosed pliers are one of the tools that are fundamental to wire jewelery making. Does anyone know how to utilize both a wireless and local area (hard wired) connection simultaneously?
Details: I have one hard-wired connection going to a Cisco router. I also have an open wireless connection going to the same router. During an ftp upload (FileZilla) and a simultaneous download (Netflix) while monitoring Task Manager I noticed that all network traffic is being routed through the hardwire connection and the wireless is just sitting there doing nothing.
I need more info as to what it is you are trying to do, do you want to connect an x-box to a pc to get to the internet, are you trying to access separate lans from the same pc, are you trying to increase your throughput to the internet, etc etc. When you connect multiple network devices, by default they are already active, unless you have an application (like Access Connections on Thinkpads) that turns one connection off when another is active
