Everyone, no matter how old or young can enjoy bowling nowadays. There are bumpers for the kids to prevent those pesky gutter balls and ramps for those who find the bending and swinging a little difficult.
Because bowling is fun, right? Of course, but it can be irritating when you find yourself barely reaching the 100 mark time after time and want to be a better bowler.
The good news is, there is something you can do. There is a lot of technique involved in learning to improve your bowling game . Professional bowlers will have practiced these bowling techniques over and over again. So the two main bowling techniques you can work on; are your approach and the way you roll the bowling ball.
When you are approaching the line and are about to release the ball, timing is everything if you want to be a better bowler. Not timing your swing correctly means you not only run the risk of stepping over the foul line but it can have a detrimental effect on your game and could be the reason you are not achieving your potential.
Most bowlers take a three to six step approach, this means they take between three and six steps during their run-up. To be a better bowler you should try out how many steps you feel most comfortable with. Many bowlers favor a four step approach.
You should start with the foot which is on the same side as your swinging arm. This is your pushing foot. The ball should be slightly in front of you. Then, as you take your next step forward, pull back your swinging arm. As you step forward with your other foot, lean forward slightly.
At this point, your arm should be raised behind your head. Then slide your left foot out and swing your bowling arm forwards. Release the bowling ball but when you do so follow-through with the swinging motion of your arm.
There are two methods of rolling the ball. Put very simply, you can either roll it in a straight line which is great for getting those spares where accuracy is paramount. Alternatively, you can spin the bowling ball. Learning to spin the bowling ball makes it roll straight and curves into the pins as it approaches them.
This spin (or hook) causes the pins to knock each other over and increases your chances of scoring highly and helps you to be a better bowler. To spin the bowling ball you need to begin with your hand under the ball, thumb facing up. As you release the ball, twist your wrist so your hand is nearly at the top of the bowling ball.
Remember to stay positive and stay focused if you want to be a better bowler. When you are about to take your shot forget about everything you have to do, the chatter from your team mates and the surrounding lanes.
Concentrate on nothing but your next shot and practice the above bowling techniques to send you on your way to that 200 or even 300 game!

Christmas Party Game -- Pin the Beard on Santa
Christmas Party Game -- Pin the Beard on Santa can take an old game and make it like new!
Birthday parties are made more fun with a variety of parlor games. On the other hand, Christmas parties, while just as festive, seems to have little parlor games to boast. For a change you can set up a Christmas game called “Pin the Beard on Santa” !
The props needed for this fun game is not difficult to find at all. First, you need to get your hand on a cardboard cutout of Santa’s face. It should neither be too large nor too small -- just big enough for everyone to see his jolly looks. You can easily find these at your nearest party supplies store or wherever Christmas decorative items are available.
Playing “Pin the Beard on Santa” requires everyone to try to affix the beard on Santa’s face -- which means the beard is not there right at the start. Once you got a cardboard face of Santa, cut the beard off. But don’t throw away that beard; you might want to tape it back after the game, if you intend to use the cardboard face to decorate your home with.
There are many creative ways in which you can create the beard. You can sculpt foam into the shape of a beard, just the right size for Santa’s cardboard face. You can also used crumpled sheets of white paper and pack them together. Or if you want you can create Santa’s beard out of a wad of cotton. Whatever materials you intend to use, glue them on a thick cardboard with a double-sided adhesive tape at the back. You can easily peel the backing of the tape off right before the game. The number of Santa’s cardboard face and beard depends on the number of players competing. If you got 5 players, you need 5 cardboard faces and 5 beards to go with them.
Playing “Pin the Beard on Santa” is just the same as playing “Pin the Tail on the Donkey”, same rules but different set of props. Affix Santa’s cardboard faces next to each other on a flat surface and line up the players a few feet in front of them. Hand them their respective beards, blindfold them and spin them around a few times. On your cue, the players will start trying to pin the beard in hand right where they belong -- on Santa’s jolly cardboard face.
Of course, you can always come up with your own version of the game. If you can get your hands on a full-sized Santa cutout, then your players will definitely have more fun trying to pin different Santa parts on a life-sized Santa. They can attempt to pin his boots, buttons on his clothes, his nose, belt -- you are only limited by your imagination.
For adult players, you can spice up the game a bit by pinning the chest hair on Santa. You can construct your own cardboard Santa for this version of the game, with his red suit unbuttoned. This may not look like a conventional Santa, but it is fun, nonetheless. Then you can make chest hair out of a wad of cotton or white fake fur. Attach a double-sided adhesive tape at the back, peel it off and have adult players play a naughtier version of the game
What Christmas game is complete without those alluring prizes? A prize may be anything related to Santa or the Christmas Season. Playing “Pin the Beard on Santa” is just as fun and as challenging as other versions of the game.

What number do i call to ask for the pin of my Nintendo DS game?
I joined Nintendo club but i don't have the box and i only need 450 points. But i have like 20 games please someone help.
If you mean the pin for the DS itself, you should be able to go through settings to find your secret question and the answer you set for it to help you remember your pin. Did you set a pin for yourself? If not, go into the settings of the DS.
If you mean the pin for the game you have, though, then you'll have to get in touch with tech support for the game or Nintendo club for help. The info should be on the very bottom of their website or under a link called "contact us" or something similar.
