How to Choose the Right Laptop Cooler?
Laptop Cooler also called as Chill Mat, Notebook Cooler, Chill Pad or Cooler Pad. Laptops are often designed without proper airflow and can grow dangerously hot; putting both the machine and the lap it rests on risk. Laptop Cooler is an attachment that helps to reduce operating temperature when the existing fan device of the laptop is insufficient in reducing the heat. They are usually helpful to reduce the heat which comes from the bottom of the device. Chill Mat does usually have their own fans which drive power from the power adapters. However, the most up to date versions of a chill pad use the USB port on the laptop. Also, the more advanced chill pad offer an insert for memory sticks or key drives.
Laptops are a lot of components crammed into a small area and, despite the fact that they use low power consumption components, they tend to get warm. Usually they face problems like is running stably, locking up and crashing. Sometimes the used unknowingly start using their laptops in places which have a direct effect of sunlight or somewhere close to fire which gives warmth to the equipment associated with the existing heat generated while carrying out certain activities. A proper accessory like a Cooler can resolve this problem giving amp full amount of cooling to keep the performance unchanged.
Some other features include card readers for various forms of media such as key drives, 2.5" Laptop hard disk drives and Memory Sticks. Chill Mats houses its own fans which are placed right below the Laptop, they are usually 2 to 3 wherein few are designed to draw heat from the underside of the computer and others are used to blow cool air to the Notebook. The speed of these fans can be controlled manually or automatically and for some the speed remains constant.
Chill Pad's duo cool the equipment but there is point most important. Chill Pad's or Notebook Coolers are just accessories to Laptop's and are not in built. Hence an additional energy is been consumed by the chill pad's. Laptop's are designed in such a way that they prove to consume less energy wherein while adding an accessory to this equipment will put on some additional burden of 2.5 watts power in USB port which reduces the power, efficiency, performance and life of the equipment says the study conducted by California Polytechnic University. However, if the laptop was lifted from the bottom so that it was at an angle, the heat would freely move away from the Laptop. This is a proven method to reduce the risk of putting the machine hot.
Today there are many coolers available in the market that are designed in such a way that the Laptop was lifted creating an angle. These Cool Pads prevent the Laptop being over heated and also has a feature that allows the user to turn the device in a complete 360 degree turn giving a view of the screen to the person on the other side. They are certain Chill Mats which don't use fans instead they use a crystalline compound to cool laptops.

Exchange is showing 100% cpu utilisation?
Hi,
While using outlook sometimes i am facing slowness issue i.e. when ever i clicked on any mail it will take time to open that mail, mean while on system try i will get the message outlook is trying to receive the messages from mail server.
At that time we observed that exchange cpu utilization is 100% and the process that are taking entire memory is Store.exe, services.exe, wmiprvse.exe, wmgmta.exe, w3wp.exe
What are the above services and why these are all taking huge amount of memory?
Thanks,
knagaraj
They're all Windows services and legit, except for possibly wmgmta.exe. I couldn't find any record of it in my search. Feel free to search for them in Yahoo! or Google yourself, as there are plenty of entries explaining what each of them are.
As to why your Exchange server is acting crazy, is it overloaded? store.exe is one of the core Exchange processes that handles the mailbox stores, so it's used as long as Exchange is running.
