The Blues Brothers (Widescreen 25th Anniversary Edition) The Blues Brothers (Widescreen 25th Anniversary Edition)
List Price: $14.98
Sale Price: $5.93

After building up the duo's popularity through popular recordings and several performances on Saturday Night Live, John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd--as "legendary" Chicago blues brothers Jake and Elwood Blues--took their act to the big screen in this action-packed hit from 1980. As Jake and Elwood struggle to reunite their old band and save the Chicago orphanage where they were raised, they wreak enough good-natured havoc to attract the entire Cook County police force. The result is a big-budget stunt-fest on a scale rarely attempted before or since, including extended car chases that result in the wanton destruction of shopping malls and more police cars than you can count. Along the way there's plenty of music to punctuate the action, including performances by Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Cab Calloway, and James Brown that are guaranteed to knock you out. As played with deadpan wit by Belushi and Aykroyd, the Blues Brothers are "on a mission from God," and that gives them a kind of reckless glee that keeps the movie from losing its comedic appeal. Otherwise this might have been just a bloated marathon of mayhem that quickly wears out its welcome (which is how some critics described this film and its 1998 sequel). Keep an eye out for Steven Spielberg as the city clerk who stamps some crucial paperwork near the end of the film. --Jeff Shannon

Bringing their "SNL" characters to the big screen, John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd are Jake and Elwood Blues, two ex-con, music-loving brothers out to reunite their old band so they can raise money to save the Chicago orphanage where they grew up. Filled with wild car chases and songs from such guest stars as James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin, John Landis' high-octane comedy also stars John Candy, Carrie Fisher. Justin Bieber: Never Say Never Justin Bieber: Never Say Never
List Price: $19.99
Sale Price: $6.99

Never underestimate the power of perseverance, social media, good hair, and a winning smile. Small town boy Justin Bieber is a young musician (16 years old at the time of this film's release) who started out goofing around on the drums at home as a young child and posting videos on You Tube as a preteen. With the help of producer Scooter Braun, he has rocketed to the status of pop phenomenon, performing for a sold-out house at the coveted Madison Square Garden in less than two years. Part documentary, part concert video, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never combines archival home videos with live concert footage; interviews with everyone from Justin's young single mother and his grandparents to his vocal coach "Mama Jan" Smith, pop icon and actor Usher, and producer Braun; and way too much footage of squealing, overwrought preteen female fans (the latter will likely cause one's eyes to spontaneously roll back in one's head and trigger a gag reflex unless one happens to be a 10- to 12-year-old girl). Showcased are Bieber's early visits to every radio station imaginable; his life backstage, on the road, and during a rare visit with his friends back home; the determination of those around him to keep his life as normal as possible; and lots of up-close footage of his concerts. Throughout the 10 days preceding his Garden debut, guest artists like Miley Cyrus, Usher, Jaden Smith, and Boyz II Men join Bieber onstage for collaborative performances of songs including "Overboard," "Somebody to Love," "Never Say Never," and "U Smile." Bieber also deals with the stress and pain of a throat infection that causes him to cancel his first show ever and threatens to prevent him from honoring his performance date at the Garden. Finally, the day of the Madison Square Garden performance arrives and viewers are treated to a great sampling of Bieber's powerful performance. The film does a good job of chronicling Bieber's rise to stardom, but let's face it, his career has spanned less than two years as of this film, so there's not really all that much to say in a movie that lasts almost two hours. But even if you're not a rabid Justin Bieber fan, you have to admit the kid has talent and you've got to respect his incredible journey. (Ages 9 - 13) --Tami Horiuchi

From YouTube sensation to global superstar, Justin Bieber has won the hearts of fans wherever he goes. Shot during his 2010 tour, this documentary/concert film features Bieber performing his biggest hits and encountering such celebrities as Miley Cyrus, Jaden Smith, Usher Raymond, and Boyz II Men while retaining his core values and never letting fame go to his head. Not in 3-D. 105 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, DVS, French Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English, French, Spanish; bonus footage.

Glee: The Concert Movie Glee: The Concert Movie
List Price: $29.99
Sale Price: $16.49

This big-screen extension of the Glee franchise, which sometimes plays like a long-form promo, melds the New Jersey portion of the 2011 tour with fan profiles. On stage and off, cast members stay in character, even while prepping backstage. Dressed in jeans and Izod shirts, they begin the show by singing Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" before launching into a string of pop hits, including Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" (some numbers were filmed at the Izod Center). As on the series, the stronger singers, like Lea Michele ("Don't Rain on My Parade") and Chris Colfer ("I Want to Hold Your Hand") shine the brightest. Though Cory Monteith and Mark Salling, to name two, aren't as strong, their charisma helps to compensate--and that applies to special guest Gwyneth Paltrow, too. If the choreography consists primarily of jumping and fist-pumping, Heather Morris brings her dancing expertise to bear on a rendition of Britney's Spears's "I'm a Slave 4 U" dressed in a bikini outfit that probably wouldn't pass muster in prime time. In a fantasy sequence, Artie (Kevin McHale) also leaps from his chair to do the "Safety Dance." Since Glee centers on misfits, the documentary sequences celebrate three Gleeks who are different in some way: a gay drama student, a diminutive cheerio, and a Brittany enthusiast with Asperger's syndrome. The extra features offer two deleted routines, three extended performances, and outtakes with Jane Lynch's Sue Sylvester, though her nemesis, Mr. Schuester (Broadway veteran Matthew Morrison), is notable by his absence. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

Attention, gleeks: The "Glee" concert movie is here! This song-and-dance extravaganza features the cast of the television phenomenon in a documentary record of their live summer tour. Featuring unforgettable and stylish new performances of "Don't Stop Believin'," "Jessie's Girl," "I'm a Slave 4 U," "Firework," and more hits, the film also features candid interviews with the actors and their most ardent fans. Dianna Argon, Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Heather Morris, Chris Colfer, and Jane Lynch star. Not in 3D. 84 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, DVS Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English (SDH), French, Spanish; bonus footage.

The Ultimate Matrix Collection [Blu-ray] The Ultimate Matrix Collection [Blu-ray]

The MatrixBy following up their debut thriller Bound with the 1999 box-office smash The Matrix, the codirecting Wachowski brothers--Andy and Larry--annihilated any suggestion of a sophomore jinx, crafting one of the most exhilarating sci-fi/action movies of the 1990s. Set in the not too distant future in an insipid, characterless city, we find a young man named Neo (Keanu Reeves). A software techie by day and a computer hacker by night, he sits alone at home by his monitor, waiting for a sign, a signal--from what or whom he doesn't know--until one night, a mysterious woman named Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) seeks him out and introduces him to that faceless character he has been waiting for: Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne). A messiah of sorts, Morpheus presents Neo with the truth about his world by shedding light on the dark secrets that have troubled him for so long: "You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad." Ultimately, Morpheus illustrates to Neo what the Matrix is--a reality beyond reality that controls all of their lives, in a way that Neo can barely comprehend. Neo thus embarks on an adventure that is both terrifying and enthralling. Pitted against an enemy that transcends human concepts of evil, Morpheus and his team must train Neo to believe that he is the chosen champion of their fight. With mind-boggling, technically innovative special effects and a thought-provoking script that owes a debt of inspiration to the legacy of cyberpunk fiction, this is much more than an out-and-out action yarn; it's a thinking man's journey into the realm of futuristic fantasy, a dreamscape full of eye candy that will satisfy sci-fi, kung fu, action, and adventure fans alike. Although the film is headlined by Reeves and Fishburne--who both turn in fine performances--much of the fun and excitement should be attributed to Moss, who flawlessly mixes vulnerability with immense strength, making other contemporary female heroines look timid by comparison. And if we were going to cast a vote for most dastardly movie villain of 1999, it would have to go to Hugo Weaving, who plays the feckless, semipsychotic Agent Smith with panache and edginess. As the film's box-office profits soared, the Wachowski brothers announced that The Matrix is merely the first chapter in a cinematically dazzling franchise--a chapter that is arguably superior to the other sci-fi smash of 1999 (you know... the one starring Jar Jar Binks). --Jeremy Storey The Matrix ReloadedConsidering the lofty expectations that preceded it, The Matrix Reloaded triumphs where most sequels fail. It would be impossible to match the fresh audacity that made The Matrix a global phenomenon in 1999, but in continuing the exploits of rebellious Neo (Keanu Reeves), Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) as they struggle to save the human sanctuary of Zion from invading machines, the codirecting Wachowski brothers have their priorities well in order. They offer the obligatory bigger and better highlights (including the impressive "Burly Brawl" and freeway chase sequences) while remaining focused on cleverly plotting the middle of a brain-teasing trilogy that ends with The Matrix Revolutions. The metaphysical underpinnings can be dismissed or scrutinized, and choosing the latter course (this is, after all, an epic about choice and free will) leads to astonishing repercussions that made Reloaded an explosive hit with critics and hardcore fans alike. As the centerpiece of a multimedia franchise, this dynamic sequel ends with a cliffhanger that virtually guarantees a mind-blowing conclusion. --Jeff Shannon The Matrix RevolutionsDespite the inevitable law of diminishing returns, The Matrix Revolutions is quite satisfying as an adrenalized action epic, marking yet another milestone in the exponential evolution of computer-generated special effects. That may not be enough to satisfy hardcore Matrix fans who turned the Wachowski Brothers' hacker mythology into a quasi-religious pop-cultural phenomenon, but there's no denying that the trilogy goes out with a cosmic bang instead of the whimper that many expected. Picking up precisely where The Matrix Reloaded left off, this 130-minute finale finds Neo (Keanu Reeves) at a virtual junction, defending the besieged human enclave of Zion by confronting the attacking machines on their home turf, while humans combat swarms of tentacled mechanical sentinels as Zion's fate lies in the balance. It all amounts to a blaze of CGI glory, devoid of all but the shallowest emotions, and so full of metaphysical hokum that the trilogy's detractors can gloat with I-told-you-so sarcasm. And yet, Revolutions still succeeds as a slick, exciting hybrid of cinema and video game, operating by its own internal logic with enough forward momentum to make the whole trilogy seem like a thrilling, magnificent dream. -- Jeff Shannon

Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection (Star Trek I, II, III, IV, V, VI + The Captain's Summit Bonus Disc) [Blu-ray] Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection (Star Trek I, II, III, IV, V, VI + The Captain's Summit Bonus Disc) [Blu-ray]
List Price: $99.99
Sale Price: $51.98

Seven-disc set includes "Star Trek: The Motion Picture," "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan," "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock," "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home," "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier," "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country," and a disc full of extras.

Star Trek I : The Original Motion PictureBack when the first Star Trek feature was released in December 1979, the Trek franchise was still relatively modest, consisting of the original TV series, an animated cartoon series from 1973-74, and a burgeoning fan network around the world. Series creator Gene Roddenberry had conceived a second TV series, but after the success of Star Wars the project was upgraded into this lavish feature film, which reunited the original series cast aboard a beautifully redesigned starship U.S.S. Enterprise. Under the direction of Robert Wise (best known for West Side Story), the film proved to be a mixed blessing for Trek fans, who heatedly debated its merits; but it was, of course, a phenomenal hit. Capt. Kirk (William Shatner) leads his crew into the vast structures surrounding V'Ger, an all-powerful being that is cutting a destructive course through Starfleet space. With his new First Officer (Stephen Collins), the bald and beautiful Lieutenant Ilia (played by the late Persis Khambatta) and his returning veteran crew, Kirk must decipher the secret of V'Ger's true purpose and restore the safety of the galaxy. The story is rather overblown and derivative of plots from the original series, and avid Trekkies greeted the film's bland costumes with derisive laughter. But as a feast for the eyes, this is an adventure worthy of big-screen trekkin'. Douglas Trumbull's visual effects are astonishing, and Jerry Goldmith's score is regarded as one of the prolific composer's very best (with its main theme later used for Star Trek: The Next Generation). And, fortunately for Star Trek fans, the expanded 143-minute version (originally shown for the film's network TV premiere) is generally considered an improvement over the original theatrical release. --Jeff ShannonStar Trek II :The Wrath of KhanAlthough Star Trek: The Motion Picture had been a box-office hit, it was by no means a unanimous success with Star Trek fans, who responded much more favorably to the "classic Trek" scenario of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Inspired by the "Space Seed" episode of the original TV series, the film reunites newly promoted Admiral Kirk with his nemesis from the earlier episode--the genetically superior Khan (Ricardo Montalban)--who is now seeking revenge upon Kirk for having been imprisoned on a desolated planet. Their battle ensues over control of the Genesis device, a top-secret Starfleet project enabling entire planets to be transformed into life-supporting worlds, pioneered by the mother (Bibi Besch) of Kirk's estranged and now-adult son. While Mr. Spock mentors the young Vulcan Lt. Saavik (then-newcomer Kirstie Alley), Kirk must battle Khan to the bitter end, through a climactic starship chase and an unexpected crisis that will cost the life of Kirk's closest friend. This was the kind of character-based Trek that fans were waiting for, boosted by spectacular special effects, a great villain (thanks to Montalban's splendidly melodramatic performance), and a deft combination of humor, excitement, and wondrous imagination. Director Nicholas Meyer (who would play a substantial role in the success of future Trek features) handles the film as a combination of Moby Dick, Shakespearean tragedy, World War II submarine thriller, and dazzling science fiction, setting the successful tone for the Trek films that followed. --Jeff ShannonStar Trek III : The Search for Spock You didn't think Mr. Spock was really dead, did you? When Spock's casket landed on the surface of the Genesis planet at the end of Star Trek II, we had already been told that Genesis had the power to bring "life from lifelessness." So it's no surprise that this energetic but somewhat hokey sequel gives Spock a new lease on life, beginning with his rebirth and rapid growth as the Genesis planet literally shakes itself apart in a series of tumultuous geological spasms. As Kirk is getting to know his estranged son (Merritt Butrick), he must also do battle with the fiendish Klingon Kruge (Christopher Lloyd), who is determined to seize the power of Genesis from the Federation. Meanwhile, the regenerated Spock returns to his home planet, and Star Trek III gains considerable interest by exploring the ceremonial (and, of course, highly logical) traditions of Vulcan society. The movie's a minor disappointment compared to Star Trek II, but it's a--well, logical--sequel that successfully restores Spock (and first-time film director Leonard Nimoy) to the phenomenal Trek franchise...as if he were ever really gone. With Kirk's willful destruction of the U.S.S. Enterprise and Robin Curtis replacing the departing Kirstie Alley as Vulcan Lt. Saavik, this was clearly a transitional film in the series, clearing the way for the highly popular Star Trek IV. --Jeff ShannonStar Trek IV : The Voyage Home Jumping on to the end-of-the-century bandwagon a little early, Paramount Pictures released 10 of their top films in one 10-pack, the Millennium Collection, in 1998. All the films are presented in their widescreen editions; one, Breakfast at Tiffany's, is offered in this format for the first time. The set includes 5 Best Picture Oscar winners and films that took home an additional 33 Academy Awards. All the tapes are available to buy individually. The pack, with a handsome mosaic of faces from the movies, also features collector gift cards (a movie version of baseball cards) and a commemorative booklet detailing the productions of all 10 films. The collection is oddly weighted toward the last 25 years, offering only one film from the 1950s and one from the 1960s. Your taste in current cinema will define the value of the set. Besides Tiffany's, one of Audrey Hepburn's finest films, the collection contains: The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston, Grease with John Travolta, Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now and The Godfather, the funny, whale-saving Star Trek IV--The Voyage Home, Tom Cruise's hit Top Gun, the smash hit Ghost with Demi Moore, Mel Gibson's Celt fest Braveheart, and Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks. --Doug ThomasStar Trek V :The Final FrontierMovie critic Roger Ebert summed it up very succinctly: "Of all of the Star Trek movies, this is the worst." Subsequent films in the popular series have done nothing to disprove this opinion; we can be grateful that they've all been significantly better since this film was released in 1989. After Leonard Nimoy scored hits with Star Trek III and IV, William Shatner used his contractual clout (and bruised ego) to assume directorial duties on this mission, in which a rebellious Vulcan (Laurence Luckinbill) kidnaps Federation officials in his overzealous quest for the supreme source of creation. That's right, you heard it correctly: Star Trek V is about a crazy Vulcan's search for God. By the time Kirk, Spock, and their Federation cohorts are taken to the Great Barrier of the galaxy, this journey to "the final future" has gone from an embarrassing prologue to an absurd conclusion, with a lot of creaky plotting in between. Of course, die-hard Trekkies will still allow this movie into their video collections; but they'll only watch it when nobody else is looking. After this humbling experience, Shatner wisely relinquished the director's chair to Star Trek II's Nicholas Meyer. --Jeff ShannonStar Trek VI : The Undiscovered CountryStar Trek V left us nowhere to go but up, and with the return of Star Trek II director Nicholas Meyer, Star Trek VI restored the movie series to its classic blend of space opera, intelligent plotting, and engaging interaction of stalwart heroes and menacing villains. Borrowing its subtitle (and several lines of dialogue) from Shakespeare, the movie finds Admiral Kirk (William Shatner) and his fellow Enterprise crew members on a diplomatic mission to negotiate peace with the revered Klingon Chancellor Gorkon (David Warner). When the high-ranking Klingon and several officers are ruthlessly murdered, blame is placed on Kirk, whose subsequent investigation uncovers an assassination plot masterminded by the nefarious Klingon General Chang (Christopher Plummer) in an effort to disrupt a historic peace summit. As this political plot unfolds, Star Trek VI takes on a sharp-edged tone, with Kirk and Spock confronting their opposing views of diplomacy, and testing their bonds of loyalty when a Vulcan officer is revealed to be a traitor. With a dramatic depth befitting what was to be the final movie mission of the original Star Trek crew, this film took the veteran cast out in respectably high style. With the torch being passed to the crew of Star Trek: The Next Generation, only Kirk, Scotty, and Chekov would return, however briefly, in Star Trek: Generations. --Jeff Shannon

Chuck's entertaining amalgam of action-adventure, comedy, and romance makes its last stand--much to the dismay of its faithful adherents--with this set of 13 episodes (on three discs, including bonus material) from its fifth and final season. As veteran viewers will know, this season's Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) is a far cry from the nerdy fellow from the show's earlier run. Beautiful fellow spy Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) is now his wife, and while Chuck remains fairly uncertain about his abilities, his own skills have sharpened considerably. But he no longer has the supercomputer known as the Intersect in his brain; for the first several episodes it's in Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez), with Chuck acting as "handler" as Morgan uses and abuses its astonishing powers, until the Intersect eventually turns up inside a sinister villain later in the season. Chuck and his crew of "free agent spies," which also includes tough guy John Casey (Adam Baldwin), weren't exactly a crack team to begin with ("We're still working out the kinks," as he puts it). Now they have to find a way to stop the monstrous "Omen" computer virus (the season's best storyline), foil many baddies (guest stars include Rebecca Romijn, Cheryl Ladd, and Craig Kilborn; Linda Hamilton and Bo Derek also put in appearances), and otherwise save the world without the Intersect, and a good many of their missions come down to exercises in mere survival. None of this is what you'd call cutting edge; it's escapism, pure and simple. But Chuck's refreshingly light touch also allows for some poignant moments (especially in the finale) and an appealing family vibe. Chuck isn't the first television show whose devotees reacted to its cancellation by campaigning furiously to bring it back. As is usually the case, they were unsuccessful, but a lineup of fan-friendly bonus features may help ease the pain. Not only do the cast and crew pay tribute to "the world's greatest fans"; they even predict how the show might have evolved had it been renewed. There are also featurettes about making the final episode (plus audio commentaries for the last two) and Chuck's beginnings and development through the years, along with a blooper reel, commercials for the Buy More store that serves as a front for the spies' operation, and more. --Sam Graham

Science-fiction features often involve time travel or strange worlds. In Christopher Nolan's heist thriller Inception, the concepts converge through the realm of dreams. With his trusty associate, Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, a fine foil), Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio, in a role that recalls Shutter Island) steals ideas for clients from the minds of competitors. Fallen on hard times, he's become estranged from his family and hopes one last extraction will set things right. Along comes Saito (Ken Watanabe, Batman Begins), who hires Cobb to plant an idea in the mind of energy magnate Fischer (Cillian Murphy, another Batman vet). Less experienced with the art of inception, Cobb ropes in an architecture student (Ellen Page), a chemist (Dileep Rao), and a forger (Tom Hardy) for assistance. During their preparations, Page's Ariadne stumbles upon a secret that may jeopardize the entire operation: Cobb is losing the ability to control his subconscious (Marion Cotillard plays a figure from his past). Until this point, the scenario can be confusing, since the action begins inside a dream before returning to reality. Then, after the team gets to Fischer, three dream states play out at once, resulting in four narratives, including events in the real world. It all makes sense within the rules Nolan establishes, but the impatient may find themselves much like Guy Pearce in Memento: completely confused. If Inception doesn't hit the same heights as The Dark Knight, Nolan's finest film to date, it's a gravity-defying spectacular to rival Dark City and The Matrix. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

Feng Shui Color Choice Benefits For Your Rooms

The benefits of color choice for your rooms and furnishing in Feng Shui can make vital differences not only for appearance sake but for the vital Feng Shui flow of power and luck within your home, office or vacation residences. Why not use Feng Shui color principles and choices to your and your families' advantage? The psychological effects of color are well known. Color can make room seem longer or smaller, warmer or cooler. Color can also make a room cheerful, more inviting or even depressing.

In Feng Shui compass points have particular colors associated with them. Ideally the main color or colors in your rooms should be the colors that complement those of the directions that the room faces. You do not have to use the color in its primary state - you can use tones that are more suited to your personal taste and of course that particular space.

If for example, and for instance, that your bedroom or the room in your hotel faces east, then it will catch the warm morning or afternoon sun no matter what the color of the room. Then during the nighttime periods you of course will want to room to be more than restful. Thus it would be wise to make a choice for your room of the blue / green color ranges. Blue / green color ranges are more closely associated with the element and elements of wood and nature.

Next if you find that you do not like or have a personal preference for that color or the colors associated with a particular geographic, building or architectural orientation then you can always revert to a more neutral shade or color choice. Neutral shades and pastels can be chosen for those walls of your rooms - be it your own rooms, or rooms that you may choose in locations for vacation spots. It is wisest to choose these Feng Shui color preferences as accents in soft furnishings and / or ornaments. You may well find for example, that black accents combine well with these more natural tones.

You may well find that color can also be used as remedies or as a specific remedy in Feng Shui in conditions when you cannot physically change the layout of a room. If a home is already purchased , if alterations to your living spaces are not possible or affordable or perhaps you are in a rented spot for an extended summer of winter vacation then the option of physically changing the layout or orientation of the room or rooms may not be available to yourself or your pocketbook. A change of colors can be the remedy here. For instance, to make the qi of Feng Shui flow more slowly in a study room, you should use quiet yin colors like cool blue and green colors as well as color shades.

Lastly for rooms facing northward to Canada in the northern hemisphere or in a southward direction in the southern hemisphere (Australia and New Zealand) will be cooler and will more than benefit from the yang of warm and warmer red shades and tones; while the south in the Northern hemisphere and the north in the Southern hemisphere will be warm and are best in cool yin blues and greens. It's always a choice of colors and personal preferences. Why not include personal color choices to best serve your Feng Shui as well as your good luck. Feng Shui.

Photo shop CS3 extended color palette, help?

I have a bit of a predicament
it may sound kind of stupid
I don't know what i had did
or how to reverse it
but each time i choose a color it automatically converts it to gray scale
so i basically can't use any actual colors
does anyone know what i did, or how to reverse it
because its pretty frustrating
im pretty new to photoshop and need help pretty much

Ah, the infamous Stuck in Grayscale problem! I think all of us who use Photoshop make this error at least once! Just go to Image>Image Mode and click RGB. You somehow ended up in Grayscale mode where everything will be in shades of, guess what, gray. =) Just check RGB (the default color mode for Photoshop) and you should be fine.
