thats the expander i have
I'm not familiar with the Linksys range expander but if you can private message me with the model number, AND the version number from the bottom of your device, I can try to locate the manual and assist you with the procedure.
It's sad but the companies don't seem to care about helping people secure their networks. I have a Belkin range extender, all brands should have the same features but they're accessed differently.
You'll need to connect to the range extender directly somehow - either temporarily turn off security, or connect it by wire to a computer or the router. Then, it should have a configuration IP in the documentation, similar to your router. When accessing it, you should be able to find a configuration page on security and network name. Change these to match your router and save the settings. After you move it back with the new settings, it should begin working properly again.
