How do I use Visual Boy Advance ROM cheats for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (GBA)?
I just downloaded a Gameboy Advance ROM of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, my favorite GBA game! I'm using Visual Boy Advance (link at the bottom). I notice that there is a "cheats" menu, but it's pretty complicated. Can anyone help me figure out how to use cheats for this game? I'm not a programmer, and thus do not have any programming skills. I don't need to do anything very complicated; all I really want to be able to do is insert a few mithril items into my inventory so that I can get Combos early on without having to find the pesky mithril items myself.

The cheat menu allows you to do two things:
1. Enter patch codes that you got from some websites (like GameShark codes or whatever)
2. Or, search for the codes by yourself! However, this is only recommended for advanced users because if I need to explain this, I'll probably need to write a whole page about it.
So, the easiest way is to get the codes from a website. If you go to this site, you'll find under "Patch Code Lists": http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/game/560436.html
Note that the codes will probably not work if it's not for your version (i.e. codes for the US version may not work for the European one, etc).
