I installed a program called Drive cleaner 2006 on my computer,I was able to uninstall it,but every so often,?
I'll go to a website,and while I'm going to the website,my computer try and run the drivecleaner 2006,is there a way to stop this from happening?any suggestions?
If your computer is still trying to run the program it definetely has not been completely uninstalled from your computer.
1/ Start/programs should locate the program file, explore the folder and you should find an uninstall file, if not
2/ Do a windows search for the program (again explore it and choose uninstall)
3/ Double check in control panel to ensure there were no other Drive Cleaner programs you overlooked when uninstalling it.
If all this fails you may need to consider restoring your PC back to a date before you downloaded the software.
