If you already own a game disk, is it illegal to get to get the activation code off the internet and use it?
I bought the sims 2 Bon Voyage a while back, but I had to uninstall it. I never registered it, either. Now, I can reinstall it but I lost my activtation code. I was wondering if it was illegal to get a code off the internet and use it with the purchased game disk. And if it is illegal, I want to know if there was a way to get the code or a new code without paying or breaking the law.
Contact the developer and tell them that you bought that game at (store name) 'X' amount of years/months ago and that you've since lost the code.
Using a keygen or cracks are illegal.
Orioles' Roberts reveals he has herniated disk in lower back
