BEATLES THE ABBEY ROAD (EDICION LIMITADA)
The Beatles' last days as a band were as productive as any major pop phenomenon that was about to split. After recording the ragged-but-right Let It Be, the group held on for this ambitious effort, an album that was to become their best-selling. Though all four contribute to the first side's writing, John Lennon's hard-rocking, "Come Together" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" make the strongest impression. A series of song fragments edited together in suite form dominates side two; its portentous, touching, official close ("Golden Slumbers"/"Carry That Weight"/"The End") is nicely undercut, in typical Beatles fashion, by Paul McCartney's cheeky "Her Majesty," which follows. --Rickey Wright

Movies attempting to retrieve cherished nuggets of pop culture often stumble, either by appealing solely to the die-hard minutia enthusiasts or clunking up the batter with unnecessary additions to the base material. (Enough with the human love triangles, get to the giant robots fighting.) Thankfully, this revival of Jim Henson's beloved characters gets the formula delightfully right, providing a googly-eyed nostalgia trip for adults while also retaining the original's sense of bright (and mildly subversive) wonder. All that's missing is a cameo from Shields and Yarnell, really. Kicking off with a boffo musical number, the story follows Walter (voice of Peter Linz), a small-town boy with a uniquely personal affection for the long-retired Muppets. (OK, he's made of felt.) Teaming up with his brother (Jason Segel, who also co-scripted) and the local schoolteacher (Amy Adams), they attempt to get Kermit, Fozzie, and the gang back together in order to save their studio from an evil oil baron (Chris Cooper, going all in). Director James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords) does a marvelous job of updating and honoring his material, weaving sly references to days gone by (the contents of Kermit's rolodex are a particular delight) into the mix of songs, celebrity cameos, and barn-broad puns that gave the original show its bubbly kick. (Fans of Animal and the Chickens will not go home disappointed.) Even the moments that don't quite work land with a cornball brio that feels wholly of a piece with Henson's universe. The result is a true family movie that still brings on the blissful, uncomplicated grins days after viewing. No matter what Statler and/or Waldorf might say, the show goes on. --Andrew Wright Related Products Amazon's Disney Store Amazon's Muppets Store More Muppets in Movies & TV Versions of The Muppets on Blu-ray and DVD The Muppets The Muppets (Single-Disc DVD + Soundtrack Download Card) The Muppets (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) The Muppets (Three-Disc Combo: Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy + Soundtrack Download Card) Release Date March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 Format/Disc # DVD DVD + Soundtrack Download Card Blu-ray, DVD Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy + Soundtrack Download Card Blu-ray No No Yes Yes DVD Yes Yes Yes Yes Digital Copy No No No Yes Bonus Features None DVD Feature Film+ BonusDigital Full-Length Original SoundtrackThe Longest Blooper Reel Ever Made (In Muppet History**) Blu-ray Feature Film + BonusDVD Feature Film+ BonusScratching the Surface: A Hasty Examination of The Making of The MuppetsA Little Screen Test on the Way to the Read ThroughExplaining Evil: The Full Tex Richman Song Deleted ScenesAudio CommentaryDisney IntermissionThe Longest Blooper Reel Ever Made (In Muppet History**) Same as The Muppets (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) plus:Digital CopyDigital Full-Length Original Soundtrack
With the famed puppet troupe's heyday behind them, it's up to young Muppet Walter, his human brother Gary (Jason Segel, who also co-wrote), and Gary's girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) to bring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and the rest of the gang back together in order to put on a show and save the Muppet Theater from a greedy oil baron (Chris Cooper). Blu-Ray Movies, Warner Bros., INCEPTION (BLU-RAY/DVD/DCOD/3 DISC/COMBO/WS, WAR BR119758
Science-fiction features often involve time travel or strange worlds. In Christopher Nolan's heist thriller Inception, the concepts converge through the realm of dreams. With his trusty associate, Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, a fine foil), Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio, in a role that recalls Shutter Island) steals ideas for clients from the minds of competitors. Fallen on hard times, he's become estranged from his family and hopes one last extraction will set things right. Along comes Saito (Ken Watanabe, Batman Begins), who hires Cobb to plant an idea in the mind of energy magnate Fischer (Cillian Murphy, another Batman vet). Less experienced with the art of inception, Cobb ropes in an architecture student (Ellen Page), a chemist (Dileep Rao), and a forger (Tom Hardy) for assistance. During their preparations, Page's Ariadne stumbles upon a secret that may jeopardize the entire operation: Cobb is losing the ability to control his subconscious (Marion Cotillard plays a figure from his past). Until this point, the scenario can be confusing, since the action begins inside a dream before returning to reality. Then, after the team gets to Fischer, three dream states play out at once, resulting in four narratives, including events in the real world. It all makes sense within the rules Nolan establishes, but the impatient may find themselves much like Guy Pearce in Memento: completely confused. If Inception doesn't hit the same heights as The Dark Knight, Nolan's finest film to date, it's a gravity-defying spectacular to rival Dark City and The Matrix. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

Dolphin Tale
List Price: $28.98

Inspired by a true story, Dolphin Tale is about courage, ingenuity, and never giving up. Sawyer (Nathan Gamble) is a young boy who's struggling with school and doesn't have many friends other than his cousin Kyle (Austin Stowell). When Kyle, a star swimmer, joins the army to earn money for college and is called to active duty, it looks like Sawyer is destined to spend his summer alone tinkering in the garage and attending summer school. Sawyer stumbles upon a dolphin that's been severely injured, becomes fascinated by dolphins, and is suddenly intellectually engaged like never before. In spite of his shyness, he forms a friendship with marine rescue doctor Clay (Harry Connick Jr.) and his daughter Hazel (Cozi Zuehlsdorff) and, more importantly, a special and very powerful bond with the rescued dolphin, who's dubbed Winter. As the newly formed team struggles to save Winter's life and ensure her continued safety, financial concerns, an accident that leaves Kyle crippled for life, and a hurricane all seem to join forces against them. In the end, it is Sawyer's determination, coupled with a little bit of luck and a lot of ingenuity from an army doctor (Morgan Freeman) who specializes in prosthetics, that helps make each member of the team, including Kyle and Winter, whole again. The talented cast does a great job of creating completely believable characters, but Gamble, Zuehlsdorff, Connick, Freeman, Stowell, and of course Winter, who plays herself, all deserve special mention. While the story of an injured animal rescued and rehabilitated has certainly been told before, this film is emotionally powerful and will absolutely captivate children and adults alike. (Ages 5 and older) --Tami Horiuchi
Inspired by a fascinating true story, this moving drama for the whole family focuses on Winter, a dolphin who loses her tail after being injured by a crab trap. Realizing she may die without the ability to swim, the young boy (Nathan Gamble) who helped rescue her, a marine biologist (Harry Connick, Jr.), and a doctor (Morgan Freeman) who specializes in prosthetics work together to create an innovative, fabricated tail. With Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson. 113 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1, French Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English (SDH), Spanish, French; deleted scene; bonus short "Ormie and the Cookie Jar" (2011); gag reel.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Three-Disc Combo: Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy)
List Price: $54.99
Sale Price: $23.97

Talk about "transforming." Michael Bay tested the patience of even the most devoted Transformers fan with the second installment of the franchise, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, but the hyperactive director bounces back in energetic form with number three, Transformers: Dark of the Moon. From the long opening sequence (a zany alternate-history reading of the NASA moon program, complete with cameos by John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon) through the predictably extended action climax, Bay is actually on his best behavior. Sure, his taste is as vulgar as ever (is introducing your leading lady via a lingering butt shot part of the director's personal signature?), but the story line is streamlined and the action is coherent: the constant chop-chop of the fighting sequences in Revenge is gone, replaced by a long-take approach that actually shows us who's fighting who. Plus, it's hard to resist a tilting skyscraper that allows the protagonists to slide down its glassy exterior. I know, right? Shia LaBeouf returns, armed with a new and improbably bodacious girlfriend (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley); although initially unemployed, he's drawn back into protecting the planet from giant outer-space robots, as the Decepticons menace the Earth once again. John Turturro and Josh Duhamel return to help, and Frances McDormand and John Malkovich join the club. Let's reduce critical expectations and say that if you're going to make a dumb movie about mass destruction, this is the way to do it (and if that sounds like faint praise, compare the movie to its abysmal predecessor). Throw in Hangover funnyman Ken Jeong, computer nerd Alan Tudyk doing a German accent, and the voice of Leonard Nimoy as Sentinel Prime, and you've got yourself a three-ring circus of extremely spirited nonsense. Just how Michael Bay wants it. --Robert Horton
Michael Bay's third film about the robots who are "more than meets the eye" concerns a Cybertronian spacecraft that crashes on the moon in 1961...and the impact it has on humanity 50 years later. As Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) teams with new girlfriend Carly Spencer (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), Optimus Prime, and the rest of the heroic Autobots, he is thrust into a battle to save the Earth from the evil Sentinel Prime and the dastardly Decepticons. With John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Frances McDormand, and John Malkovich. 154 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital True HD 7.1, Discrete Dolby Digital 5.1, Discrete Dolby Digital stereo Surround, DVS, French Dolby Digital 5.1, Portuguese Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English (SDH), French, Portuguese, Spanish; "making of" documentary; featurettes; bonus digital copy. Four-disc set. Also includes a DVD and a Blu-ray 3D that requires a 3D television, 3D Blu-ray player, and special glasses to reproduce the original theatrical experience.

A Digital Water Flow Meter
The digital water flow meter consists of a turbo prop sensor which is attached to a handle that is expandable and has a digital readout display. The Global Water Flow Probe is a very accurate water flow instrument that measures the flow in open channels as well as in partially filled pipes.
The digital water flow meter has true velocity averaging and can measure flows in a very accurate manner and is used for measuring flows in rivers and streams as well as monitoring velocity in ditches as well as canals. The digital flow meter also has many features to it including easy flow monitoring, digital display in ft/second or meters per second, does not weigh much and is reliable as well as rugged and is used by water professionals all across the world.
Debris Shedding Turbo-Props and Telescoping Handle
This digital water flow meter also has debris shedding turbo-prop and a telescoping handle with staff gauge and can display instantaneously true average velocity and also has a rain-proof digital computer read out. It is most useful for measuring flows in streams, rivers, canals, storm waters, wastewaters and industrial process waters.
To operate this digital flow meter, its flow probe incorporates the unique turbo-prop propeller sensor which makes it possible for positive displacement techniques to sense velocity and is designed to shed debris and has ample protection inside the two inch diameter housing. One can place the probe housing directly on the bottom of the pipes or streambeds in order to measure low flows down to two inch depths and the flow motor propeller turns feely on the shaft without mechanical interconnections and so has almost no friction.
In addition, the flow probe handle is able to telescope from three feet to six feet in height or five feet to fifteen feet and is made of anodized aluminum for its low weight as well as durability and can be extended up to twenty-five feet in length with the help of PVC pipe and extension cables, which allow sewer flow measurements from the level of the street and measuring of stream flows from the bridge. Attached to the lower section of the digital water flow meter is a three feet Mylar coated staff gauge which is graduated in hundredths of a foot and centimeters and this helps in instant water depth measurements as well as accurate positioning of the propeller.

computers are able to take the words entered on a keyboard and translate them into digital information?
I worded the question incorrectly, thanks Adam for pointing that out to me. "How are computers able to take words entered on a keyboard and translate into digital information?
yup and they use hexadecimal coding to do it, which is a more complex version of binary, but makes the programming of the computers a lot easier. binarys are like 1s and 0s so the letter A might be 10011011 which would be something else in hexadecimal.
