The Versatility of Custom Shot Glasses

As a business owner, you are always looking for ways to promote yourself and your business. Doing this is called branding and it helps to create brand awareness among you customers. Brand awareness, and brand consistency, are incredibly important when you want to market something to your customers.

Studies have found that one of the best ways to do this is through promotional products. Promotional products serve the double duty of being something that you can use to show appreciation to a customer, while at the same time using the customer as a billboard on the street and in their own home.

One great promotional gift you can give away is shot glasses. A shot glass works well at wedding favors and birthday favors. There are, in fact, a multitude of events that custom shot glasses can be used at for gifts.

Weddings, birthdays, holidays and anniversaries are all places where your personalized item will be welcome. For the first two, weddings and birthdays, you will want to personalize the glasses so that you do not look too cheap or self-promoting.

With personalized products, you can say "Happy Birthday" or "Congratulations on Your Union" on the glasses, with the names of the person or people who are getting the shot glasses. This personalized touch will make the glasses mean more to those you give them to. On the bottom of the shot glasses, or in smaller print on the back, you can put your company name and logo.

For anniversaries, you can do a similar thing. If you are celebrating the anniversary of a friend in business, you can give them personalized shot glasses that show your joy in how long they have been in business, while at the same time advertising your own company. Most people will be so happy that you gave them a personalized gift, they won't even look at the promotional part of the glass.

For holidays, you can really do some cool things. You can personalize shot glasses so that they are Christmas colors and say Merry Christmas on them, while at the same time promoting your company. Then, you can use a shot glass as a free prize when people shop at your store between Dec. 1 and Dec. 24. You can do the same with Halloween, New Years, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Thanksgiving. There are so many ways that you can advertise your company with custom shot glasses on the holidays that you will find you will become overloaded with ideas.

People love anything that is free, it is a law of consumerism. If you are giving away a free custom shot glass, or you are giving away personalized products as wedding favors or birthday favors, you are showing someone that you are happy for them, and you are also helping to advertise your own company. It is win-win for everyone, especially you and your business.

I'ching fractal time wave theory: breakthrough in human evolution, or just 2 dudes eating too much DMT?

in 197, terrence and dennis mckenna (botanists) went to the amazon and took some DMT (a powerful halucinogen)- according to terrence, while under the influence of DMT, he was contacted by Logos (an informative voice, supposedly universal to gnostic experiences) instructed him to investigate the I'ching (ancient chinese sacred philosophical text).

Upon further study of the I'ching, the Mckenna brothers found out that if you apply a Mandelbrot fractal equation to the I'ching, it produces a "timewave" of the human evolutionary process, that reaches it's apex on dec 22, 2012 (just like the mayan calendar)

what do you think?
*the study took place in 1971, not 197- my bad

Sounds good to me. There's a site called the Sipp Project which has a lot about the I-Ching, the Tzolkin (Mayan sacred calendar) and I think he put DNA into it too. Anyway, I helped with the Tzolkin part.
BTW, the Mayan calendar date everyone's talking about (which isn't the end, but that's another subject entirely--check my past answers) is actually 12-21-2012 but what's 24 hours between friends right?
