Plug in Prestos PopLite and the party begins. In less than 2.5 minutes you will have up to 18 cups which is equal to two large bowlfuls of fluffy popcorn with virtually no unpopped kernels. And because the machine uses hot air instead of oil the resulting snack is healthier and lower in calories. Thats not to say you can nott add butter in fact the half cup measuring cup on top of the popper doubles as a butter melter. Simply put in the desired amount of margarine or butter and it melts from the heat produced during the popping process. The clear plastic cover and cup which must stay on during popping so the popped corn does not fly all over the room easily remove for hand cleaning with warm soapy water. No other clean-up is required. While a few unpopped kernels spring out the chute as the machine begins to heats up the chute does a good job of directing the popped corn into a bowl.
Plug in Presto's PopLite and the party begins. In less than 2-1/2 minutes you'll have up to 18 cups--two large bowlfuls--of fluffy popcorn with virtually no unpopped kernels. And because the machine uses hot air instead of oil, the resulting snack is healthier and lower in calories. That's not to say you can't add butter; in fact, the 1/2-cup measuring cup on top of the popper doubles as a butter melter. Simply put in the desired amount of margarine or butter (room temperature is best), and it melts from the heat produced during the popping process. The clear plastic cover and cup, which must stay on during popping so the popped corn doesn't fly all over the room, easily remove for hand cleaning with warm, soapy water. No other clean-up is required. While a few unpopped kernels spring out the chute as the machine begins to heats up, the chute does a good job of directing the popped corn into a bowl. The popper measures 14 by 9 by 6-1/2 inches, and is identical to Presto's Orville Redenbacher Hot Air Corn Popper except for color and logo. Presto covers the PopLite with a two-year warranty. --Ann Bieri

Frank Zappa: Apostrophe / Over-Nite Sensation

History will show that Frank Zappa (1940-1993) was one of the greatest American composers of the 20th century in any musical form, and this superb episode of the Classic Albums series offers ample proof of Zappa's genius. As Zappa's reverent son and musical heir Dweezil Zappa rightly points out, Over-Nite Sensation (1973) and Apostrophe (') (1974) are the albums that epitomize Zappa's masterful jazz/rock fusion, virtually defining a unique musical genre that can only be called "Zappa." The recording of both albums is chronicled here not simply because they best represent the dazzling complexity of Zappa's music, but also because they were recorded simultaneously in a burst of creativity, proving beyond any doubt that Zappa was more than simply a mischievous provocateur. While the world may know Zappa from his mainstream novelty hit "Valley Girl" (with daughter Moon on vocals), any devoted Zappaphile will tell you that this is the real Zappa, in full musical bloom, working miracles in the studio with The Mothers of Invention and a stellar variety of topnotch musicians who cite their time with Zappa as the most rewarding period of their careers. The Classic Albums series strives to be definitive, and this must-have DVD is fully authorized in the scope of its coverage. With complete cooperation and participation from the remaining Zappa family (sons Dweezil and Ahmet, daughter Moon, and widow Gail are all extensively interviewed) and additional interviews with Billy Bob Thornton, Alice Cooper, guitarist Steve Vai, veteran Rolling Stone critic David Fricke, and many of Zappa's closest associates and collaborators, this 97-minute documentary is packed with highlights and fascinating revelations, like the pristine precision of Zappa's hand-written compositions, Zappa's childhood fascination with the compositions of Edgard Varèse, and his diligent, prolific, and disciplined, drug-free approach to recording and touring. Zappa's studio process is amazingly revealed when Dweezil and Zappa "Vaultmeister" Joe Travers sit down at a mixing table to analyze the master tapes of classic Zappa tracks like the hilariously controversial "Dyna-Moe Humm." In addition to vintage archival clips of Zappa discussing his music and career, and home movies of Zappa's band on tour during the mid-1970s, this DVD also includes the complete video of Zappa performing "I'm the Slime" on Saturday Night Live in 1976, live footage of a 1973 performance of "Montana," and a new performance of "Camarillo Brillo" by Dweezil's tribute band, Zappa Plays Zappa (with Dweezil playing one of his father's favorite Gibson guitars). Bonus features also include a Travers-hosted trip into the massive Zappa archives, and further deconstruction of Zappa tracks "Dirty Love" and "Nanook Rubs It." If you're a casual Zappa fan, this DVD will turn you into a passionate convert. For those who've loved Zappa all along, it's a little bit of heaven here on Earth. --Jeff Shannon

Movies attempting to retrieve cherished nuggets of pop culture often stumble, either by appealing solely to the die-hard minutia enthusiasts or clunking up the batter with unnecessary additions to the base material. (Enough with the human love triangles, get to the giant robots fighting.) Thankfully, this revival of Jim Henson's beloved characters gets the formula delightfully right, providing a googly-eyed nostalgia trip for adults while also retaining the original's sense of bright (and mildly subversive) wonder. All that's missing is a cameo from Shields and Yarnell, really. Kicking off with a boffo musical number, the story follows Walter (voice of Peter Linz), a small-town boy with a uniquely personal affection for the long-retired Muppets. (OK, he's made of felt.) Teaming up with his brother (Jason Segel, who also co-scripted) and the local schoolteacher (Amy Adams), they attempt to get Kermit, Fozzie, and the gang back together in order to save their studio from an evil oil baron (Chris Cooper, going all in). Director James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords) does a marvelous job of updating and honoring his material, weaving sly references to days gone by (the contents of Kermit's rolodex are a particular delight) into the mix of songs, celebrity cameos, and barn-broad puns that gave the original show its bubbly kick. (Fans of Animal and the Chickens will not go home disappointed.) Even the moments that don't quite work land with a cornball brio that feels wholly of a piece with Henson's universe. The result is a true family movie that still brings on the blissful, uncomplicated grins days after viewing. No matter what Statler and/or Waldorf might say, the show goes on. --Andrew Wright Related Products Amazon's Disney Store Amazon's Muppets Store More Muppets in Movies & TV Versions of The Muppets on Blu-ray and DVD The Muppets The Muppets (Single-Disc DVD + Soundtrack Download Card) The Muppets (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) The Muppets (Three-Disc Combo: Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy + Soundtrack Download Card) Release Date March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 Format/Disc # DVD DVD + Soundtrack Download Card Blu-ray, DVD Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy + Soundtrack Download Card Blu-ray No No Yes Yes DVD Yes Yes Yes Yes Digital Copy No No No Yes Bonus Features None DVD Feature Film+ BonusDigital Full-Length Original SoundtrackThe Longest Blooper Reel Ever Made (In Muppet History**) Blu-ray Feature Film + BonusDVD Feature Film+ BonusScratching the Surface: A Hasty Examination of The Making of The MuppetsA Little Screen Test on the Way to the Read ThroughExplaining Evil: The Full Tex Richman Song Deleted ScenesAudio CommentaryDisney IntermissionThe Longest Blooper Reel Ever Made (In Muppet History**) Same as The Muppets (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) plus:Digital CopyDigital Full-Length Original Soundtrack

The Social Network (Two-Disc Collector's Edition)

David Fincher directs this insightful tale, based on Ben Mezrich's book "The Accidental Billionaires," about the personal and legal dealings of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Jesse Eisenberg plays the frustrated young Zuckerberg, who as a Harvard undergrad created an online social network that revolutionized communication but in the process encountered numerous problems that may have cost him what he valued most. Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield co-star. 120 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, French Dolby Digital 5.1, DVS Dolby Digital Surround; Subtitles: English (SDH), French, Spanish; audio commentary; featurettes; "making of" documentary; more. Two-disc set.
They all laughed at college nerd Mark Zuckerberg, whose idea for a social-networking site made him a billionaire. And they all laughed at the idea of a Facebook movie--except writer Aaron Sorkin and director David Fincher, merely two of the more extravagantly talented filmmakers around. Sorkin and Fincher's breathless picture, The Social Network, is a fast and witty creation myth about how Facebook grew from Zuckerberg's insecure geek-at-Harvard days into a phenomenon with 500 million users. Sorkin frames the movie around two lawsuits aimed at the lofty but brilliant Zuckerberg (deftly played by Adventureland's Jesse Eisenberg): a claim that he stole the idea from Ivy League classmates, and a suit by his original, now slighted, business partner (Andrew Garfield). The movie follows a familiar rise-and-fall pattern, with temptation in the form of a sunny California Beelzebub (an expert Justin Timberlake as former Napster founder Sean Parker) and an increasingly tangled legal mess. Emphasizing the legal morass gives Sorkin and Fincher a chance to explore how unsocial this social-networking business can be, although the irony seems a little facile. More damagingly, the film steers away from the prickly figure of Zuckerberg in the latter stages--and yet Zuckerberg presents the most intriguing personality in the movie, even if the movie takes pains to make us understand his shortcomings. Fincher's command of pacing and his eye for the clean spaces of Aughts-era America are bracing, and he can't resist the technical trickery involved in turning actor Armie Hammer into privileged Harvard twins (Hammer is letter-perfect). Even with its flaws, The Social Network is a galloping piece of entertainment, a smart ride with smart people⦠who sometimes do dumb things. --Robert Horton

Computer Work At Home Jobs - Can You Make Real Money?
Working at home no longer means lugging your work from the office home with you, nor is it limited to hosting product parties. Computer work at home jobs have become very popular and are overruling the concept of working from home. But even these jobs are broad in spectrum. They can be anything from owning an eBay store to offering web development services to businesses.
Some of these computer work at home jobs are even as simple as taking surveys or writing reviews for products and services you use regularly. But do these jobs actually pay the bills or are they just a way for the modern public to pass away their time? Is it really worth jumping on the bandwagon?
They answer is yes!
Believe it or not most people dont do computer work at home jobs because they want to be their own boss or because they want to be millionaires. A number of people who work at home work for companies, they either have a direct employer or clients that they have to touch base with. And most people who work from home are not rich nor are they seeking to be. So if the seemingly popular reasons for working at home dont apply to majority of the public then why do people bother to do computer work at home jobs?
Passion is sometimes more important than money.
A number of people who work at home also work outside the home in jobs they dont like or dont feel appreciated in. But when they come home they get the opportunity to do something they are passionate about.
For instance, a friend of mine works at a small marketing firm. Hes likes marketing but he enjoys sketching comics a lot more. However, when hes posting his comics on his blog, hes not only doing something he loves, hes able to apply all his marketing skills. He makes a decent amount of money with his blog and he gets to showcase his talents. His computer work at home job makes up for what he doesnt get in his career.
This sense of purpose is why he works from home. He may never become a millionaire but hes doing something he loves which makes doing a computer work at home job worth it. Whats more hes making money, in his sleep.
More money for fewer hours is very tempting.
Earning money online with a computer work at home job is not necessarily any easier than offline, just ask any affiliate marketer; however, it is faster once you get the ball rolling. There are several ways to earn passive income online-- that is working once and getting paid over and over. There are very few offline jobs that offer this. Its also easier to create multiple streams of income. One website alone can be monetized to pay you in 4 different ways. You dont need to put any extra hours in to earn extra money.
Example, an internet marketer I know has a website about the health benefits of chocolate. Her website pays her each time someone uses one her affiliate products, clicks an adsense ad, advertises in her ezine, buys her ebook and signs ups for the webhosting programs she uses. She only works 5 hours a day sending traffic her website and maintaining it and at the end of the day shes earned more than she would have working 8 hours outside her home. With 3 kids, time is very important to her. But doing a computer work at home job gives her the time she needs as well as the money she needs.
Not everyone does a computer work at home job because they want to be the next Donald Trump. Some people do it because they want a way to do something they love; some do it because it takes less time. Whatever the reason computer work at home jobs are only going to get more popular, so the real question isnt why do people do it but whether or not youre going to.

How a quartz watch works
You might have one on your wrist or your bedside table. There isone in your cell phone and your GPS receiver. Every laptop anddesktop computer has one, and there could be more than one in yourcar. It's the quartz clock now so ubiquitous that each person oftenowns 10 or more. But it is a technology that did not really becomeavailable to the general public until 1969.
