The Terminal (Full Screen Edition)
List Price: $9.98
Sale Price: $1.20

Like an airport running at peak efficiency, The Terminal glides on the consummate skills of its director and star. Having refined their collaborative chemistry on Saving Private Ryan and Catch Me if You Can, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks mesh like the precision gears of a Rolex, turning a delicate, not-very-plausible scenario into a lovely modern-age fable (partly based on fact) that's both technically impressive and subtly moving. It's Spielberg in Capra mode, spinning the featherweight tale of Victor Navorski (Hanks, giving a finely tuned performance), an Eastern European who arrives at New York's Kennedy Airport just as his (fictional) homeland has fallen to a coup, forcing him, with no valid citizenship, to take indefinite residence in the airport's expansive International Arrivals Terminal (an astonishing full-scale set that inspires Spielberg's most elegant visual strategies). Spielberg said he made this film in part to alleviate the anguish of wartime America, and his master's touch works wonders on the occasionally mushy material; even Stanley Tucci's officious terminal director and Catherine Zeta-Jones's mixed-up flight attendant come off (respectively) as forgivable and effortlessly charming. With this much talent involved, The Terminal transcends its minor shortcomings to achieve a rare degree of cinematic grace. --Jeff Shannon
After landing at New York City's JFK airport, Eastern European native Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) learns that a coup has dissolved his country and rendered his passport useless. Taking up residence in the sprawling terminal, Viktor charms a beautiful flight attendant (Catherine Zeta-Jones) while officials attempt to have him deported from his new "home." With Stanley Tucci, Chi McBride, Kumar Pallana; directed by Steven Spielberg. 129 min. Standard; Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital stereo, DTS 5.1, French Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English, French, Spanish.

How To Watch Cable TV On Your Computer? - Watching Satellite TV On PC
The possibility of being able watch cable tv on your computer with satellite tv seems like a dream come true. In searching the history of television and high-speed Internet development, one can see how technology has made what seems like giant steps in making this technology a reality.
Packages are now available through companies on the Internet which allow one to receive all programs on the computer screen that are transmitted via satellite programs. These programs were previously only available on a regular television set. With this program it is possible to enjoy the latest movie releases as well as regularly televised programs.
Having a computer, complete with monitor and high-speed Internet, is a common occurrence in most households. In addition, there are usually one or more television sets throughout the home. With the new computer high-speed programs available, one can eliminate all television sets if desired and still enjoy all the programming benefits of regular TV.
The high-speed computer TV program is more suitable to individual use rather than large groups. Even large computer monitors limit the number of people who can view it in comfort. This should be a consideration when considering the purchase of such a program.
Many households have an older model computer set. While this set will work with high-speed Internet, it might not be adaptable to utilize these new programs. If wishing to watch cable tv on your computer with satellite tv one should check with the company selling the tv package to see if it will work with your current equipment.
Over the past few years the Internet has grown by leaps and bounds. The expansion to be able to bring satellite programs, usually confined to the TV screen, onto one's computer terminal is phenomenal. This offers unlimited possibilities to anyone with a computer, monitor, and high-speed connection.
Being able to watch cable tv on your computer with satellite tv and enjoy current sports event, latest movies, or popular TV programs is a pleasure that can be realized by any individual with high-speed Internet access. Unheard of a few years ago, it is available and enjoyed by the general public today and can be very affordable, depending on the supplier and package selected.

Can terminal services be setup to log users in when they sign into theri computer?
We want our users to turn their computer on, come to a windows sign in screen, and when they sign in, it logs them directly into the terminal server so it seems they are working on their local computer. Kind of a psuedo VDI but with terminal server. Is this possible?
i think so....we use Sun terminals at my college...which is kinda like that
Northeast snow halts planes, trains, automobiles
Roughly 2,000 flights were canceled. Train and bus service was scrubbed. And some shipments of small packages and heavy freight were suspended or delayed.
