The Fox and the HoundThe Fox and the Hound marked the last collaboration between Disney's older artists, including three of the "Nine Old Men" (Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, and Woolie Reitherman), and the young animators who would make the record-breaking films of the '90s. Based on a book by Daniel P. Mannix, the film tells the story of a bloodhound puppy and a fox kit who begin as friends but are forced to become enemies. Tod and Copper barely establish their friendship before Copper begins his training as hunting dog. Unfortunately, neither character develops much of a personality, which makes it difficult to care about them. The screen comes alive near end of the film, when Tod and Copper have to join forces to fight off an enormous bear. It had been years since Disney produced a sequence with this kind of feral power--and years would pass before they surpassed it. The Fox and the Hound ranks as one of the studio's lesser efforts, but it suggests that better films were soon to follow. (Ages 5 and older) --Charles Solomon The Fox and the Hound II Developing close friendships and nurturing a positive self esteem are two major challenges along the road to growing up. In this Disney sequel to The Fox and the Hound, Tod (a young fox voiced by Jonah Bobo) and Copper (a bloodhound voiced by Harrison Fahn) are the best of friends. When Copper bemoans the fact that he can't seem to do anything right, Tod reassures him that eventually he'll find something at which he excels and invites him to the fair. Opportunity knocks when a vocal dog group called "The Singing Strays" looses its lead singer Dixie (voiced by Reba McEntire) and Copper discovers that he's a really good singer. Unfortunately, Copper's newly discovered fame leaves Tod feeling jealous and abandoned and threatens to destroy the pair's close friendship. Will a close examination of what's really important in life be enough to set things right between Tod and Copper? This engaging, 69-minute animated Disney movie features original music performed by Grammy-winning country music star Reba McEntire as well as the voice talents of Patrick Swayze and Jeff Foxworthy. (Ages 3 and older) --Tami Horiuchi

The folks at Pixar can do no wrong with Monsters, Inc., the studio's fourth feature film, which stretches the computer animation format in terms of both technical complexity and emotional impact. The giant, blue-furred James P. "Sulley" Sullivan (wonderfully voiced by John Goodman) is a scare-monster extraordinaire in the hidden world of Monstropolis, where the scaring of kids is an imperative in order to keep the entire city running. Beyond the competition to be the best at the business, Sullivan and his assistant, the one-eyed Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal), discover what happens when the real world interacts with theirs in the form of a 2-year-old baby girl dubbed "Boo," who accidentally sneaks into the monster world with Sulley one night. Director Pete Doctor and codirectors David Silverman and Lee Unkrich follow the Pixar (Toy Story) blueprint with an imaginative scenario, fun characters, and ace comic timing. By the last heart-tugging shot, kids may never look at monsters the same, nor artists at what computer animation can do in the hands of magicians. --Doug Thomas

Top 5 Computer Games Of All Time
Before Playstation and Nintendo became the latest home entertainment craze, computers have offered an array of games that helped many pass the time. While basic gaming options, such as Solitaire and Minesweeper often came with a primary computer package, there have been plenty of satisfying game that hit the market, spanning many years of upgrades and sequels.
Some computer games have come and gone, but there are many that have proved a staying power, which has immensely evolved since the introduction of the 1962 gem, SpaceWar (the first game made for computer use). Below, you will find some of the most popular computer titles that have greatly influenced the gaming scene over the years:
Doom
Some may consider this computer title one of the best action games of all time, as it became the mold that many first-person shooter games would be cast from. The history of Doom begins in 1993 where the highly intense game was distributed as shareware to the public. Within two years, it is said that an estimated 10 million individuals downloaded the title. Known for its graphic nature and intense interactive violence, it was later made into a movie starring The Rock.
Tetris
There have been endless duplications, but none can compare to the original 1988 version that the Soviet Union produced as an attempt to keep up with the competitive American market. The game was quite simple; all you have to do is match falling blocks into spaces that made sense. Higher levels brought faster game play and before you knew it, you were hooked. Anyone who has played a computer or video game has definitely heard of Tetris, which is a classic that will last for many years to come.
Sim City
The concept of building your own city caught on like wildfire as gamers created their own domains from the floorboard up. Negotiating pipes, electricity, and running water were just some of the tasks that took hours and hours to master throughout this virtual world of wonder. The first Sim City game made an appearance in 1987 and ever since, has produced numerous spin-offs, such as Sim Safari, Sim Zoo, and Sim Roller Coaster.
Civilization
In 1993, Sid Meier put out the computer game, Civilization, which became an addictive joyride. There were so many different levels of fun to explore, as players learned the ins and outs of economics, diplomacy, and achieving conquests. One moment, you could be pondering the construction of the Pyramids while the next moment took you into the depths of space. Various sequels followed the original.
Monopoly
Many board games have made their way to the computer game world, but none have made such an impact like the dog-eat-dog concept of buying and selling real estate. The first Monopoly computer game was distributed in 1995 and hasn't looked back since. With hundreds of variations, players no longer see Park Place and Boardwalk as the most expensive properties, but dive into alternate city-related themes that stretch from Chicago to Tokyo.

How can i install a computer game when it wont pop up on the computer?
My boyfriend just got a new video game (halo) and is trying to install it on his dell computer, it has windows vista if that helps. Every time he puts in the cd to download the software to play the game nothing pops up and you cant find the disc anywhere on the computer, we dont know how to figure it out. We tried google to see if there are any awnsers but none. How do we fix this??
any input helps.
-Thanks
If the CD is in, you can go to My Computer (either through the Start menu or on the Desktop) and right-click on the CD drive and click "Autoplay" (should be on top of the menu). That should work.
If that does not work, you have to right-click the CD drive and click "open," and search for a file called "Setup" or "Install" and double-click that.
Plants vs. Zombies Top-Selling iPhone Game Launch Ever
Apple's App Store may have over 150,000 applications, but none have sold as many as Plants vs. Zombies in their introductory sales period. The so-called "cutesy" tower-defense game, which sees players wield imaginative botany against an army of backyard-invading zombies, originally launched for Windows in May 2009.
