Dual Monitor Video Card Reviews
For years , the idea of a proper gaming computer has conjured up the image of a hulking desktop system, one that towers over the player and hums with the sound of the fans required to chill its strong components. Notebook computers were always seen as the ?little brothers? Of their desktop opposite numbers : superb for general computing, word processing, and web surfing on a tight schedule, but nowhere near powerful enough to run the same software as your desktop.

Much of this perception has changed in recent years thanks to the overwhelming advances in micro-computer technology. Notebook PCs have grown more and more powerful and advanced even as their size and cost has been reduced. Today, the idea of a true gaming portable is a feasible one, and masses of companies have offered their units onto the market as evidence of this.
What are some advantages of Gaming Laptops?
Why, you ask, should you trouble with notebooks for gaming when desktop systems are so readily available? Gaming portables do have their decided advantages. C. case, monitor, keyboard and mouse, speakers, printer, and other peripherals, a standard-size desktop computer system can fill up a whole desk or table surface.
PCs today are becoming so advanced that they can realistically be seen as desktop replacements. In fact, a dedicated computer desk becomes principally unnecessary when talking about a system as tiny as a laptop ; any table or surface will do.
The smaller size of computers also lends itself to their portability, which is another of their clear advantages. Computers let you work or read the web wherever you like, and gaming portables take that idea even further by allowing you to play the newest games wherever is handy.
Moreover, the portability of laptops makes them ideally suited for community gaming. Having a smaller-scale, self-contained gaming system makes this process exponentially easier. In addition, the wireless capabilities of many portables make connecting to other systems locally or online a cinch.
Certainly there are some downsides to gaming on portable computers, right? As you have undoubtedly noticed above, the price tag related to a top quality gaming notebook is usually quite a bit more than an analogous desktop.
Another detriment of including such advanced technology in such a little package is that gaming computers are quite a lot heavier than their non-gaming counterparts, and their battery life is generally not nearly as long. It?s not unknown for gaming notebook systems to clock in at 8 pounds or more, and when you?re toting this weight around for serious amounts of time, it can be prohibitive. Additionally, it is rare for the battery in a dedicated gaming portable to last for more than a couple of hours ; the technology inside puts such a drain on the battery that it typically goes dead inside a short amount of time.
If you plan on using a gaming laptop specifically as a desktop replacement, this ceases to be an issue . However, anybody who plans on using their laptop solely on a busy schedule might find the reduced battery life slightly off-putting.

How do i take an input VGA (monitor) out of the back of my computer?
my computer has crashed and i have researched it and it says to take the VGA input bit out and check if any pins are bent (the bit where you plug the screen into on the computer)
Ok, i know this is the problem coz, my computer boots up but the screen doesnt work, i took it to a shop and they told me the problem and told me it would be $88.00 for labour so i went screw that and he told me the problem so now i dont know howto take it out and i have undone the screws but isnt coming out
it looks like it has to square metal pies stuck to it and the motherboard but i am unable to pull it out
Well I would take it to a professional to look at. You can use some plyers if you can't get the connector off.
Acer Aspire 5740-6378: Lots of Features at an Affordable Price
The Acer Aspire 5740-6378 parks itself next to most midrange laptops . It feels fast enough for all common productivity applications; carries a big, 15.6-inch screen; and has nearly all the inputs and outputs you could want. But it never reaches beyond that middle ground. Its big screen makes it a...
