While this was fine up to the last generation, the twenty-first century demands more freedom and flexibility in jobs.
What is more, while people with physical or mental infirmities did not need a means of independent living till a few years ago, for the family took care of most such people, today many of them need to support themselves through a reasonable method of generating income. In additional, Many people require a work-at home at flexible hours so as to give them the liberty of indulging in their pet hobbies and passions, or even for taking care of their family, older folk, a bedridden person, or a member of the family who needs special attention.
The answer to all of them in the net-age is a net-based job. While many companies small and big are there that offer net-based jobs, such as freelance article-writing, these do not fully liberate the job seeker. The best solution is to develop one's own income generating website. This requires a carefully thought out strategy, because a website does not automatically generate income -- else almost the whole world would have moved to easy net-based income.
What one needs in an "Income Plan" based upon the net, setting up one more more websites that do one or more income-generation tasks for you. This involves assessing which of the following would suit you:
1. Sales Portal: setting up a website or more that is basically an electronic shop. This is definitely an attractive income-plan, and there are any number of user-friendly software or net companies that will help help a person to set up a basic net-based shop quickly. Once set up, you will have spend one to six months promoting your website in search engines and directories before you begin to get an income.
2. Content Portal: setting up a website or more on specific topic, such as tourism, music, medical facts, or any specific topic, and then populating it with Google ad words is another method. In addition to Google you can use many other advertisement services. The site can start giving income in less than 3 months.
3. Review Portal: setting up a website where you review a product, such as freeware, commercial software, cars, electronic cameras, musical instruments etc, and populating it with advertisements is a good method of income. Since the website has a focused theme, it helps the advertiser to offer focused advertisement, which increases your revenue generation possibilities.
4. Advise Portal: if you are good at any subject where people seek advise such as medicine, health, career, website optimization, or anything that interests people, you can set up an advise portal, populate it with advertisements and generate an income.
What is important is to decide what kind of website or websites suit you. Just as a sales portal is not for everyone, an advise portal is not for all. Some will find a content portal easy to maintain, while others will find a review portal more convenient. What is important is to find that kind of work that offers you maximum convenience.
Once you find it, stick to it till you succeed, and you will not regret.

How to build up a small wind power generator for home?
Hi all,
I want to build u an average sized wind turbine generator (about 1 Meter each Wing Size). so that i can get electricity for my home based appliances such as TV, AC, Refrigerators, etc.
What would be the requirements.. so i need to take any statutory approvals / license to do so,, and how to give input to my main Line into the home.

First thing: Is this going to be a temporary source (in case of a power cut) or a more permanent source.
Because it will be an extension to your house, you might need planning permission. You have a certain 'amount' you can build on without permission, so if you haven't used it, nor has a previous owner, than you can build it with permission. You can check this by going to your council.
