Built to perfectly fit a player's hand, the Nintendo RVLAFK2 Black Nunchuck Controller for Wii builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers. This Nunchuk connects to the Wii Remote at its expansion port and is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote. The Nintendo RVLAFK2 Black Nunchuck Controller for Wii contains the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote but also includes an analog stick to assist in character movement. In several games, players will use the analog stick of the Nunchuk to move their characters and the Wii Remote to perform a specific action, whether that's throwing a pass in football or aiming a ranged weapon in an action game. Along with the analog stick, the motion-sensing Nunchuk also contains two buttons positioned for quick access. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is
The Wii Nunchuk controller is a secondary controller that adds even more innovation to the next generation of gaming, and does it all with less physical movement. Used in conjunction with the standard Wii remote, certain games need the Nunchuk controller for additional control options. Contoured perfectly to fit a player's hand, the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuk contains the same three-axis motion sensor found in the Wii Remote, but also includes an analog stick, and two buttons to help assist in character movement. The Wii Nunchuk controller is now available in Black. The perfect addon to enhance your Wii Games Many games will allow you to control your character's movement with the Nunchuk in your left hand, while your right hand is free to execute the action movements with the Wii Remote. For example, the Nunchuk is particularly useful for games like Wii Boxing. You can use the Nunchuk to punch with your weaker hand, while you use the Wii remote to punch and jab with your predominant hand. In first-person shooters, the Nunchuk controller carries the burden of movement, freeing you to aim and fire using a more natural motion with the Wii Remote. In a football game, you can make your quarterback elusive with the Nunchuk controller while you search for an open receiver to throw to using the Wii Remote. Serious gamers may even want to use two Nunchuk controllers to gain a fierce competitive edge. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. Perfectly suitable for either right or left-hand use, the Wii Nunchuk controller grants accessibility not often seen in previous game controllers. Also, the Nunchuk controller doesn't need its own power--it plugs into the Wii Remote controller when it's in use. So there's no need to worry about charging or replacing expensive batteries. Adding a Nunchuk to your Wii system will definitely help you open the doors to the next level of gaming, and seriously step up performance. Just be careful not to knock out your significant other, or bruise the dog, severely, while using one, or two Nunchuk controllers.

The Games Ported over to the PC platform in 2002 from the original PS2 version, Grand Theft Auto III is the first 3D game in the GTA series, the fifth game in the series overall and the one that introduced players to the famous in-game environment of Liberty City. It is widely considered one of the most important video games in history due to the popularity it generated for the open-ended gameplay style of the GTA franchise. In the game you play an unnamed character who in order to confront his ex-girlfriend, who betrayed him during a bank robbery, must rise in the ranks of the criminal underworld of Liberty City. With a cast of hundreds, 50 plus vehicles, ranging from sports cars to ice cream trucks and from boats to buses, 3 hours of music, including opera, reggae, house, drum and bass, pop and disco, a huge array of street ready weapons and some of the seediest characters in video game history, Grand Theft Auto 3 is a sprawling epic which will show you that sometimes, crime can pay and sometimes it can pay you back. Key Features An epic adventure set in the Grand Theft Auto franchises 3-island metropolis of Liberty City, circa Theft Auto 3. The game features a fully 3D experience exactly similar to the Grand Theft Auto games originally launched on the PS2. Amazing visuals on the PS2 due to enhanced draw distance, new lighting and shading models, as well as real-time reflections. A massive nonlinear storyline penned by Rockstar's award-winning writing team. Professional character voice acting and production. The game includes many side quests and extras to unlock, plus 100 packages to find. Welcome to Vice City. Welcome to the 1980s…Having just made it back onto the streets of Liberty City after a long stretch in maximum security, Tommy Vercetti is sent to Vice City by his old boss, Sonny Forelli. They were understandably nervous about his reappearance in Liberty City, so a trip down south seemed like a good idea. But all does not go smoothly upon his arrival in the glamorous, hedonistic metropolis of Vice City. He's set up and is left with no money and no merchandise. Sonny wants his money back, but the biker gangs, Cuban gangsters, and corrupt politicians stand in his way. Most of Vice City seems to want Tommy dead. His only answer is to fight back and take over the city himself. But all work and no play does indeed make Tommy a dull boy. Thankfully, for the action man, or outdoors type, there's tons of fun things to do and adventures to be had in the aptly named Vice City... guaranteed. And for the secretive or creepy type, it is a place full of surprises, a place where you'll constantly be surprised by the vivacious, fun-loving types who live there and the things you can discover. Originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2002 and ported over to the PC a year later, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is chock full of 1980s American culture references, as well as a continuation of the sandbox style action adventure gameplay that is the hallmark of the GTA series. It is also one of the top selling games of all-time on the PS2 platform. Key Features An expanded control scheme allows for play in mouse-look 3rd person view or the classic Grand Theft Auto console view. Also included is integrated support for all major gamepads, joysticks and steering wheels. With massive viewable distances, texture resolutions bumped up from 32-colors to 32-bit color with billions of shades and game resolution to scale as high as your monitor can support, graphics have been pushed to the limit to take advantage of the latest PC hardware. Muster your artistic prowess to create your own player skin. Add to Tommy's 80's culture wardrobe or create a whole new original spin on the character itself. EAX 3.0 enhanced audio immerses you in the sounds of the city and a new MP3 radio station lets you broadcast your own music over Vice City's airwaves. At any given time players can watch a replay of the last 30 seconds of the game and mail your unbelievable gameplay sequences to friends to watch. The so called "racing wheel" is a staple of the modern video game entertainment center. Steering wheels for PlayStation 2 have come quite a long way from the old days, just like every other aspect of video games. To watch how far the technology has developed in the last forty years, in the racing wheels alone, is really something.
Early Steering Wheels
The earliest known ancestor of the modern racing wheel is actually the paddle. You remember those, right? They were those old controllers people used in the seventies with the big spinner wheels in the middle. They gave tighter, better control in racing games than a traditional joystick, but... They did not exactly make you feel like you were driving a car, for obvious reasons. Still, these analog paddles introduced an important idea to the world of video games: Analog control. Where a joystick or directional pad allows for eight directions and one speed, the analog wheels would let you turn sharply or gradually left or right depending on the situation, allowing a whole new level of control for racing games.
Home Racing Wheels
Towards the end of the seventies and into the eighties, more and more home controller wheels started popping up. To take these wheels apart and look at the insides, they were built on the exact same hardware as the analog paddle, but, they would put the wheel in your hand and allow for a much more real, intuitive control, and a much more natural gaming experience. At this point, there was no "force feedback", so they would use springs to give a sense of resistance.
Force Feedback Wheels
This brings us to today. Many modern racing wheels use electric motors to give resistance. At first, these were just used for the "rumble" effect, so the wheel would shake during a crash. But now, the technology has gotten to a point where the physics system within a game can feed information to your racing wheel as such that the wheel responds to the road in-game. This allows for the most realistic possible racing experience short of signing up to become a stock car driver, and it really blurs the line between driving game and driving simulator. However, some of the best and most responsive racing wheels actually do not use force feedback, as the manufacturers do not think that the technology has come far enough just yet. If you are looking to get a wheel for your PS2, the choice is really yours as to whether or not you think force feedback is worthwhile, or just a distraction.
The video game steering wheel has come a long way in both functionality and design, allowing the gamer a realistic and exciting driving experience. One of the most dynamic and advanced racing wheels is the ps2 steering wheel which allows a gamer to experience racing games the way they were meant to be played, in the proper seating position. Get in on the action and learn more about all the video game racing wheels by visiting Logitech Steering Wheels.
Knowing your Playstation 2
The Playstation 2, or the PS2, is a video game console that is successor of the Playstation and predecessor of the Playstation 3. It was developed and designed by Sony. Playstation 2 was released in Japan, a year after the announcement of its development in March 1999.
Till date, Playstation 2 is the best-selling video game console. Sale of the Playstation 2 touched a whopping 120 million mark in 2007. Just after 5 years and 9 months of its launch, Playstation 2 sales reached 100 million units, making it the fastest selling video game console.
Initially, when the console was launched in 2000, impressive game titles weren`t made available with it. But in December 2001, a host of best-selling and critically acclaimed game titles were launched for Playstation 2, which helped Playstation 2 in maintaining a lead in the video game console market. In most of the cases, the makers of Playstation 2 made exclusivity deals with the publishers of the game titles to stay ahead in console market.
Playstation 2 has 3 designs: Original case design, slim case design and PSX.
Playstation 2 is backward compatible with Playstation when it comes to hardware compatibility. It can read CDs as well as DVDs. DVD video playback is another feature of Playstation 2. DVD movie playing feature was another attraction and a cost-justifying feature for a buyer to purchase Playstation 2. It also supports Playstation memory cards, meant for saving Playstation games only. Playstation 2 also supports the Playstation controllers. But the problem that one faces with these controllers is that they are not supportive of all the functions, like the analog buttons, of the Playstation 2. The memory cards, also, work only with Playstation 1 games. At the rear of the console, support is provided for internal Playstation 2 HDD (Hard Disc Drive).
An upgraded version of the Playstation DualShock controller is the Playstation 2`s DualShock 2 controller. Digital buttons of the original controller are replaced by analog face, shoulder and D-pad buttons. The D-pad, the right buttons, the back buttons (R1, R2, L1, L2), the analog joystick buttons (R3, L3s) and the middle buttons (Start, Select, Analog) are the various input buttons.
Similar to its predecessor, force feedback feature is provided with DualShock 2 controller. Force feedback is more commonly known as the `vibration` function. Consider a game wherein the player moves in a car on a road. Now, this force feedback feature gives a `feel` of how an actual road would have given, making the game as close to reality as possible.
Playstation 2 was introduced with one of the most advanced features. These features were not available with other contemporary gaming consoles, which helped Playstation 2 in gaining more popularity. DVD playback feature, USB support and IEEE 1394 expansion ports were some of these features.
Software support was another advantage that worked in the favor of Playstation 2. Old systems could be upgraded to Playstation 2 without changing the old softwares. This enabled the new users to access older games till a new and larger library was developed for Playstation 2. Speeding up disc read time, adding texture smoothing to enhance graphics, or a combination of both, were the added features provided with Playstation 2 to enhance Playstation games. At times, problems like failure in loading were faced with faster disc reading. But texture smoothing proved out to be an effective feature at all times.
Playstation games can also be played online with multiple players. A network adapter is required for this. This is a built-in component in the slimline model, but with other models the consumer has to purchase it. These special features make playstation 2 a great hit among the kids and the grown ups alike.

any solutions to ps3 analog sticks getting stuck?
my left joystick gets stuck forward all the time and i figured it was from playing call of duty 4 so much. ive dealt with it for a while now but recently my right joystick is starting to stick to the left and right now, it doesnt stick as bad as the left one but its really annoying when the screen starts to move by its self. ive been playing gta iv now and when i run to get in a car since my left joystick sticks forward, he just runs right by the car and it gets on my nerves. i was curious if i could take it apart and grease the joysticks or if the controller was just worn out and unfixable. anyone have this problem and found a solution to it?
Mine did the same its the joypad is really flimsy I bought a PS2 controller converter and hooked up a PS2 controller. My PSN I.D id jaydbrummie ADD ME..
